BIO

While he’s mostly known lately for his controversial takes on social issues, Boosie Badazz is one of the central figures in Southern Hip-Hop for his generation. Emerging in the 1990s as Lil Boosie and as a member of the Concentration Camp, he dropped his debut album Youngest of da Camp in 2000. After signing with Pimp C’s Trill Entertainment, he dropped For My Thugz in 2002. After his 2014 release from prison, he changed his name to Boosie Badazz and was featured on several tracks with Jeezy ("Beez Like") and T.I. ( "Jet Fuel"). Boosie would go on to release numerous albums and singles making him one of the most consistent and prolific rappers from Louisiana. To date, Boosie has released seven solo studio albums, six collaborative albums, 42 mixtapes and counting.
