BIO

A native of Mississippi, Big Krit began his music career in 2005 and released multiple mixtapes. Scott first rose to prominence with the release of his sixth mixtape, K.R.I.T. Wuz Here, in 2010 and promptly signed a contract with Def Jam Recordings. In 2012, he released his debut studio album, Live from the Underground, which debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200. In 2016, he announced that he is no longer signed to Def Jam, and launched his own record label Multi Alumni in 2017. He released his third album, 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time, under his label Multi Alumni in October 2017. He recently dropped his fifth studio album Digital Roses Don’t Die. While he hasn’t received mainstream success, his consistency and creativity has earned him a loyal fanbase and respect from his peers.
