Dr. Dre is one of the all-time great producers in the history of Rap music. His career began as the DJ of the World Class Wreckin’ Cru before co-founding N.W.A. with Eazy-E in 1986. Not only did Dre help to put Compton, CA on the map, but he is one of the innovators of the West Coast sound and widely regarded as the father of the Gangsta Rap sonic aesthetic.
