Niggas stay sucking cole’s dick..I like cole alot but stop it..cole has been dropping subpar verses ever since his album dropped (Beyonce feature, tinie tempah’s feature and now this) same goes for wale..I hate it when niggas turn groupies too..
OK im a cole fan….i was a HUGE cole fan from 09-10 i was listening to him since the warm up dropped….but the album was subpar, and how come EVERY song hes got on since then is fuckin rnb? hes been sounding like a real bitch lately lol its upsetting me
been following Cole since the “Warm Up” too and i gotta say i completely disagree with your take on the album.
IMO, it’s got a proper balance of solid lyrics & mainstream pop (similar to most of Jay-Z’s records). in fact, i’d argue that on a track to track basis, you won’t find another “mainstream” rapper who covers more topical issues than he does.
don’t get me wrong, i LOVE the mixtapeswith his lyrically laden storytelling & braggadocio punch lines, but if he stuck with JUST that, his album wouldn’t have gone GOLD.
at the end of the day, it’s about that DOLLAR and a dreami.e. you’ve gotta sell records without selling your soul. you’ve gotta convert the masses without losing your original “niche.”
and except for a few critical hip-hop hipsters, J. Cole’s done just that.
Bling Blaow Bitches.
#COLE WORLD
Nice, but ain’t the original
Cole is so CREATIVE with his flows fuck the punches the way he play on the beat is fucking incredible
