You don’t hear alot guys doing this now. For him to drop a freestyle like this with no beat on the radio is nice to see. And like others already said here, it was a REAL freestyle, not just some rhyme that didn’t make his album or something. It wasn’t game changing or anything like that, but it was dope..

I beg to differ. I’ve heard Nas go off the top a couple of times and dude was aight. Youtube his Stretch Armstrong/Bobbito show freestyle from like ’93. I also Heard Rakim go off the top once on Hot 97 and dude went in. And you could tell it was off the head. It’s dope to hear cats that still do that.
