    1. It actually sound pretty good I’ll get and give rule a chance I honestly don’t remember him ever making wack music I just notice he didn’t get any notice

    2. wow this really sounds alot like the first PAIN IS LOVE ALBUM! you dont see that much with sequel album im really impressed!

    3. 4 stars. Not a classic but a serious contender for album of the year, since most of the stuff that comes out nowadays is whack.

    4. It gets 5 stars for black vodka. the rest is a dud. but that black vodka is hottest shit on the radio material.

    5. Sounds great! PIL2 is one of those albums which I have been eagerly anticipating this year. From the snippets, it should not disappoint. There is a good combination of classic Hip Hop sound and lyrics and new Hip Hop in the absence of silly, stupid electro/techno tracks, so that’s a BIG plus!

There is a lot of energy within Pain is Love 2 due to the meaningful lyrics and I think people will definitely relate to that.

    6. you can always tell who the dickriders and the haters are. its always an unreasonable extreme. either CLASSIC or GARBAGE.clearly both yall niggas lying.

      1. Your a fagot tell your bf 50 his done him and pauly d tryin to get him a comback lmfao gunotttttttttt holllaaaaa backk itss murdaaa aha

    7. Sounds interesting…let’s see what he do wit it from da bing! Its gonna be tuff to promote from in there…and shit you can’t sit on da album until you get out. Not sure how internet gangstas are dissing album based on snips! Get a life!

    8. Shaping up to be the most introspective Ja album to date. Couldn’t resist listening to all the new snippets, glad the album’s coming so soon.

    9. WTF album snipps? What happened to buggin out on the first listen when you buy the album? LEAKS killed hiphop. I don’t watch movie previews either ya’ll are a bunch of fuckin lames can’t wait for shit.BUY MORE FUCKIN CD YOU PUNKS.

      1. Fuck that im older then this bitch..must be nic to be able to buy cds but the rest of us barely get the fuck by workin 70 hours a week u fuck. Cant remember the last time i said im gonna buy that cd..not even cushiphops sucked lately cus i been to broke lately.

    10. “Real Life Fantasy” and “Black Vodka” could both be number one hits if JA had a major label pushing him.

    11. sounds great, hopefully he has some bonus tracks though considering half the track list is songs that have been out for a year. this is hip hop, not rock n roll. 12-13 songs is just horse shit. needs at least 16+ songs. a dozen songs and charging people for an LP is just lazy. barely surpasses the definition of an EP

      1. i’d rather an album with 12-13 songs that are all awesome than an album with 15-16 songs and only 2-3 awesome songs and the rest just average or crap

    12. WOW NOW I SEE WHY JA HAS THE BIGGEST BUZZ FOR A ALBUM IN THE GAME RIGHT NOW I HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING THIS HOT IN A GOOD MIN AND I LIKE HOW THE ALBUM STARTS OUT LIKE THE FIRST PAIN IS LOVE ALBUM AND IT FOLLOWS THE SAME VIBE THE WHOLE WAY ILL DEF BE PICKING THIS ALBUM UP FIRST DAY! I BET IT DOES HUDGE NUMBERS FOR A INDEPENDENT ALBUM!

    13. 5/5 Fuck the haters. We been stopped listening to your narrow-minded, delusional bull shit. Get over yourself cunts. ’03 is almost a decade ago now, and you’re still working at McDonald’s talkin bout how you’re gonna make it out the hood. smh

    14. Everything I have heard from this album (so far) has completely changed my mind about Ja. Amazing work. I just hope he can have a good follow up.

      1. Oh he will have a great album after this one I’ve already heard some of the tracks on the next album. I must say pretty amazing.

      1. how does he think he is 2pac? he has his own unique style! you must be half dollar fan for u to call him cookie monster and say he thinks he is 2pac.. not even funny.. and it’s half dollar who tried to copy Ja’s style!

    15. Im saying this without bein biased because i met ja back in the day and each time he was a cool dude. But straight up, there is NO WAY i would let a nigga come in the game and end my roster like that. 50 overtook the game when Ja was reigning, and sold more albums total than JA DID. Ja used to have like 4 songs in the top 5 at the same time. He was considered the “hottest rapper” . And 50 ruined his career. Now he’s locked up and it will be harder to come back when he gets out

      1. nobody gave 2 shits about 50 until eminem and Dr Dre signed him. shady and aftermath were the only crew at that time that had more pull than murder inc. Compounded with the feds invasion on murder inc offices that same year obviously tipped off by 50.
Name another artist that could have beat those odds. #rawdeal

    16. Lol and you must be a ja fan if you callin 50 half dollar. ja been wack even before 50 brought it to everyone’s attention. Ja ain’t shit … He had his 15 mimutes of fame and 50 gave him an extra 10 minutes before he crushed his career. Ja is soft……..

      1. ja rule is real think ab it for all you 50 dick riders how much respect does 50 got in the hood if he got gunned down in front of his crib it wasnt a warning he was suppose to die….he snithced on murder inc think ab it cause he got the FEDS involved hes a bitch for all you suburban whit boys gunit ridin punks these are the faces put music aside…after 50 got shot he said “god put me here for a real reason” all that nigga does is take shots at hot industry niggas such as ja hes jealous

    17. How much respect does ja have in the hood ? NONE. Ja is a soft ass nigga. He came in the game with wack shit and he left the game as a bitch. He waited years to come back because he was still healing from the ass whooping 50 gave him.
What 50 been doing ? And what’s ja been doing …… Enough said
Ja was equivalent to lil Wayne when he first drop. … But some of you nigglets were still sucking on your mommie titties to remember that.

      1. Prick, Ja Rule started his career at cash money click, with chris black and 0-1 back in ’94. First check for information instead of sucking fif dick.

      2. obviously you don’t know shit, ja’s crew stabbed 50 in the ass and 50 went and demand a restraining order. he was scared the shit out if they come back and this time finish him over Lol.
        #Fuck50

    18. U know what all of ya 50 fans can do suck my dick bitches that nigga is a bitch he a sneaky ass nigga real talk holla backkk queens hold ya head rule 1

    19. 50 aka snitch ja real nigga …. Coz I fucked u up once fucked u up twice and still u still talking what must I do to get threw to u curlyyy get off my dick aha murdaaaaaa

    20. Wow I’m very impressed with the amount of quality of these tracks on this album. I can actually say that this album will be recommended for a GRAMMY.

    21. Ja rule real nigga …….. 50 is a snitch who help send preme to a life sentence in jail and tryin with gotti yall ridin with that

    22. hahaahahaha @50 cent paying radios and sites to stop promoting ja rule music..man this nigga is a suka ass nigga..rule 4 life!

    23. I HEARD THAT SHIT AS WELL BRO..WTF!!! WHOEVER DO SHIT LIKE DAT IN 2012..DIS NIGGA 50 CAN’T RAP FOR SHIT..MPIRE DA MOVEMENT!

    24. nobody gave 2 shits about 50 until eminem and Dr Dre signed him. shady and aftermath were the only crew at that time that had more pull than murder inc. Compounded with the feds invasion on murder inc offices that same year obviously tipped off by 50.
Name another artist that could have beat those odds. #rawdeal PIL2 2.28.12 #Redemption

    25. finally something new and different in hip hop.
everything in hip hop sounds under produced and uninspired. looking forward to hearing the full album now cuz these snippets sound like a fresh breeze in a stale room of rap.

    26. are u people serious? he has no flow and half the songs are way to slow. this album will flop and i know sales dont matter if an album is good but come on now. him and 50 fell off, its over. time to move on

    27. Never like ja, always been 50 fan, but this pil2 album sounds like a classic, def gonna have to buy this, hate to admit it but 50 cannot touch this album for quality, ja has converted me lol

    28. first they love you then they hate you then they love you again.. Jarule is getting loved again now, when he gets hated again then 50 gon get love again.. its a cycle

    29. Dis album is going to get back to real hip hop all this boring ass music on radio needs to trash dem selves. All 90 rapper need to comeback. Ja has step up an started the movement of real music this brother gets 5stars for this shit. Shout to dat creative sprite 700

    30. The INC. is back, the INC. is back
The INC. is back, the INC. is back
The Rule is back, the Rule is back
The Rule is back, the Rule is back
Like ‘Pac said “keep your head up man”
Like Biggie Biggie “give me one more chance”

    31. I’d like to know where all yall so called Ja fans were when everybody turned their backs on him during the 50 Cent beef….

      1. fo so bro ! many so-called hip-hop fans are nothin but some hypocrites

i never thought GRODT was a classic, some good tracks here and there but nothin special as far as the whole album

plus, if you compare ja’s venni vetti vecci to 50’s GRODT, there is no doubt, hands down that ja’s album is superior to 50’s.

    32. 50 deaded him ONLY because Ja was relly tryna be pac…well the industry was tryna portray him as pac cuz his voice kinda sounds like him. but there will never be another Pac. pac is pac. but ja makes good music, but be yourself ja. Album sounds fire, juss wish it had less of that rock vibe to it. i like the eclectic sound of some of the tracks but still please remember this is hiphop. Black vodka is that shit tho. that track is the diamond on this album, instant classic for sure. this album is bringing back that soul vibe to the hiphop shit like he did in the 2000s. but damn that tupac shit is pissing me off tho with that second track after black vodka tryna sound like ‘changes’ shhmm* a few songs sound like they took the formula from other hits…all in all 4/5 concept, prouction and music wise. hiphop wise i guess its a 3.5 or still a solid 4 only cuz sadly the direction of what hiphop is is kinda moving towards other sounds that r not so hiphop. but this album does a good job of balancing that. nice music Ja

    33. lol @ people sayin ja is better than fif, GRODT and POTD are better than ANY of ja’s albums
plus ja has never made a song as lyrical as Many Men

oh btw dont mention venni vetti vecci, that had shit beats and only sold records coz of holla holla

      1. That’s your opinion! Others would probably argue that Ja’s Pain Is Love is better than GRODT and POTD!

Other’s will probably argue that others would probably argue that Ja’s songs ‘Better Days’, ‘I Love U Momma’ and ‘Where I’m From’ are better than ‘Many Men’.. the lyrics for Many Men seem mostly ok from what I remember, but it doesn’t even sound that good.. the beat isn’t that good and I don’t really like 50’s flow or voice (as a singer/rapper) in general, which i probably why i don’t really like any (or at least the vast majority) most of his songs.. other people probably love his flow and voice, i dunno.. i guess people have different taste..

    34. jarule album is the doppest shit out right now. fuck the 50 haters dre dont fuck wit dude nomore yall 50 punks just eat a fat dick and go cop dat album and judge the music stop hatin and spend sum money

    35. EVERYONE STILL TALKING ABOUT THE BEEF? ANYONE DISSING JA RULE ON HIS OWN PAGE..WAS AND IS DENIAL. .YOU WERE ALL ON JA DICK IN 02. .JUMPED ON 50’S. .ITS OK DONT BE SCARED U JUMP RIGHT BACK ON. .#FAKE FANS

    36. Not seeing it. I guess I’ll be the unpopular one.

This album sounds like it might put him back on the scene but as far as it being a classic – no. Nothing Ja has put out has come close to the near perfection of VVV and let’s not forget, it was easy for 50 to take Ja down because Ja was making TRASH, plain and simple. Fat Joe suffered the same fate.

I’m hating a little bit on this album because I know what Ja is capable of and this ain’t it. It has nothing to do with 50, I see some of you can’t talk Ja without talking 50 too. Just a unbiased opinion. Ja, you still got alot of work to do.

    37. Absolutely. This album is classic. Pain is love was his best album in terms of sales and impact and this is sounds more focused to me.
proud of Ja. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but you have to look at the facts of what Ja Rule Does as an Artist. who’s records are better than these?? Rack city????come on people these are not casio beats or just drum machine loops. people have forgotten what a well produced rap album sounds like. PIL2 is the reminder.

    38. people keep talking about the beef, and Ja being finished, a load of silly fanboy talk. Absolutely wrong from the beginning.

    39. Actually looking forward to this, a couple of the hooks sounded a bit cheesy, but musically and lyrically it seems to be on point and have some original production.

      1. Lol! Real talk i wouldn’t even know this shit was coming out if it wasn’t for this site. It’s has no word of mouth on any other hip hop site but a couple of the tracks sound dope.

    40. Great album. You gotta understand that, it’s not about Ja vs. 50, it’s not about beef anymore. This is just music. Nothing more, pure music. They are artist they are businessman not thugs. They are millionaires with big houses. So do like me, just listen to the music and try to find something about you in lyrics. Just enjoy it

      1. If 50 ended Ja’s career then then how come Ja’s song ‘Mesmerize’ which featured Ashanti was a hit! So was Ja rule’s song ‘Wonderful’ which featured R. Kelly and Ashanti! They both came out during/after the feud with 50! Also, his album ‘Blood In My Eye’ was released in 2003 during his feud with 50 moved about 139,000 copies in its opening week and peaked at number 1 on the 2003 U.S. Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album Chart!

      2. I don’t think 50 had much effect on Ja’s career. I think it was the FBI that had a massive negative effect on Murder Inc and Ja Rule’s career since about 2005

    41. Sonically, I can’t deny the album sounds phenomenal – “Black Vodka” and “Believe” are my favourites. Lyrics, though?

    42. murder inc made some awesome hiphop and rnb songs back when they were on top! would be so good if they reunited and made awesome music like that again, even if they did it as collaborations under different record labels (like under mpire and written entertainment [ashanti’s new record label]) instead of murder inc/the inc

    43. Fuck the masses it has to take isolation for people to wanna fuck with his music yall people are fake as fuck…

      1. ??????? What has Ja Rule ever done in the past 6 years for any of you to be wanting to hold hands and come together in unity in the name of him? And if you say “Always On Time”, I will fucking visit Ja in prison myself and put some Black Eyed Peas up in his Fergie.

        Dickriders.

    44. I am a massive Ja fan! I think it would be accurate to say that he is my favourite artist of all time! What I’ve heard from PIL2 sounds amazing and probably better than all other current music that is currently out, but i miss Ja’s old style and music! I have to confess that Ja’s older songs (like ‘always on time’, ‘mesmerize’, ‘wonderful’, ‘livin it up’, ‘down ass chick’, ‘put it on me’, ‘down 4 u’ etc) are probably my favourite songs ever! so i’m probably somewhat biased.. but I would love to hear Ja make songs like them again and for those songs to become hits!

      1. i mean the front cover art with the 2 heads.. the back cover art is cool though.. but i still prefer the cover art for the first Pain Is Love (Pain Is Love 1)

    45. Hip hop has a heartbeat because of artist’s and albums like this. Unbelievable. Much respect to Ja Rule for giving me some good music to listen to as a kid and for giving us THIS! PIL2 is a monster!!!!!

    46. Whoa, not being a stan or dick rider but I listened to the whole album and I was surprised. Looks like Ja is back to his old form but it’s too bad that he is in jail and cannot promote it to the full effect. Hopefully he gets 500k in sales because that would say alot and bring him back from the graveyard of old rappers. From beginning to end there are countless great tracks on this album. 4.5/5

    47. Was not a big ja fan back in the day, gave this a listen and the album is amazin, Ja has come back with a vengance, his music has matured and i for one am loving it!!!! FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    48. lol ja hasnt made a hit song for over 6 yrs and yall treat him like he’s a legend, smh, PIL2 is gonna FLOP

    49. Now I’ve never been one to really believe the whole “illuminati” business, but 225 of these 250 comments are all beyond positive, they’re all fucking fake. This album is garbage. Parachute is the best song on the entire disc, and that fucking song sucks. Ja Rule got Murder’inc’ed by Eminem years ago, when all of D12 exposed him to be a Tupac reinacting wannabe bitch, and Ja and Gotti lost everything. Well, I mean, they lost all of there fans, except the 225 dickriders in this bitch.

If you actually care about hip hop, you won’t put a dollar of your hard earned money into this nonsense. Ja lost his mind awhile ago, and the dude is in jail at this very moment. It doesn’t make him hard, and this cd doesn’t bring him or “Empire” what-the-fuck-ever back. Everyone here is on some Pussy shit if y’all think Ja is an “artist” of any kind.

      1. lol, so ur saying that Ja is part of ‘illuminati’, yet he is in jail, and almost everyone in the industry seems to be against him?

      2. oh yea, and PIL2 doesn’t seem to be gettin much, if any, tv and radio time airtime.. in fact, if i believed in the illuminiti, i might hav thought they are against him from how much hate he seems to be gettin and how much people and the industry seem to be against him..

    50. didnt eminem kill your career? why are you still rapping straight trash you fu*king suck! your old as hell and need to stop SLAUGHTERHOUSE/SHADYAFTERMATH

      1. Is that why Eminem offered a truce to Ja and Murder Inc via his song ‘Like Toy Soldiers’? Eminem song ‘Hailey’s Revenge’ was Released November 2003. Ja Rule’s album ‘Blood In My Eye’ was also released in November 2003 during his feud with Eminem and 50 Cent and moved about 139,000 copies in its opening week and peaked at number 1 on the 2003 U.S. Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album Chart! Ja Rule’s song ‘Wonderful’ (2004) which featured R. Kelly and Ashanti was also a hit!

    51. oh lord.. who mastered this album? the EQ is terrible.. ppl in they basement with jus a mic an a decent DAW/ Recording program can mix better then this.. anyway FAIL

    52. Ja Rule is a multi-platinum artist who has made some amazing music/songs! Have some respect haters!!

      1. 50 u snitch bitch ass homo boo boo nigga u mad coz i didnt sign your hat back in the day get of my dickkkk ahaha

Kelly and Ashanti was also a hit!!

      2. Emeinem was scared of ja coz he knew real street niggas thats why he made a truce on toy soldiers ITS MURDA 4 LYFE

    53. Rome diggs is a faggot and diggz stand for digging in lil boys ass this faggot nigga was on the news raping kids keep all kids lil boys away he likes buuttttttttt

    54. this album is hot and im a loyal 50 fan accept that ja rule was hot b4 anybody heard of 50 and ja is lyrically better than 50! ja been had hits he been through it all 2 this is his redemption to get back whats his!
