Rjd2 Speaks Again

When he released his debut “Dead Ringer” in 2002, Rjd2 did what so few are able to do; garner critical acclaim across multiple genres. Countless fans put the album on a plateau with DJ Shadow’s instrumental opus “Endtroducing.”

The Definitive Jux producer fused hip-hop and soul as well as anyone ever has, and according to Def Jux impresario El-P, “what this cat did for soul he is about to do for rock.” Unlike his debut which featured several songs with emcees, “Since We Last Spoke” is entirely instrumental. The album drops May 18th on Definitive Jux.
