Since the LA Times printed the story accusing Biggie of paying Los Angeles crips to kill Tupac, seemingly everyone has called the story bullshit. Among those have been close friends of Biggie’s like Jay-Z and Charli Baltimore.
Baltimore, a former girlfriend said this, “I mean, I know for a fact that that was not the situation and, you know, I think that it’s really sad that someone would say that a dead man was responsible for another dead man’s murder.” Jay-Z recently called the entire story “a cover-up of the deaths of two great men,” on stage at a show.
Others like Russell Simmons and activist Benjemin Chavis Muhammad have said the article is “inaccurate, untrue and unsubstantiated” and that the article “does more to inflame passions and emotions than to clear the air with actual facts.”
