It would be an understatement to say that Too Short is a hip hop veteran, in fact I’ll bet that you can’t name an emcee that is still releasing albums that has been around for longer (if you can hit me up at J2T3R@aol.com). Too Short released his first album way back in 1983, and has continued to drop albums about every year and a half ever since. This new LP will mark his 14th album, 2Pac is the only other solo artist to release more than that.
Too Short recently told Davey D that he will have DPG and Richie Rich appearing on the album. Question, what exactly does the DPG consist of these days anyway after the whole Kurupt fiasco? In any event, Too Short made no mention of when he would be retiring (and eventually returning, as always). It should be noted that Too Short has released quite a chunk of those 14 albums independently, in the 80’s no less. That is a whole lotta hustling.
