The Source Magazine, best recognized for their controversial mic ratings and reviews, has apparently given Jay-Z’s new LP 5 mics. “The Blueprint” is Jigga’s first ever 5 mic rated album and following the dodgy 4.5 mics he got for “Vol.2”.
The Source almost certainly had very little choice but to give Jigga the full 5 mics. Congratulations to Jay-Z. While you are waiting to pick up The Source check out the HipHopDX review of the Blueprint put up this weekend.
