After being arrested on a murder charge last week C-Murder’s lawyer says that his client is suffering from a case of mistaken identity. C-Murder aka Corey Miller is being accused of killing 16 year old Steve Thomas at the Platinum Club in New Orleans, there are said to be several eye witnesses. Miller’s attorney, Roy Maughan Jr., said that “He (Miller) thinks it’s very unfortunate that this young man was killed,” Maughan said. “But he’s absolutely not guilty.”
If he is convicted of the charge (second degree murder) he would face life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. The rumors of already being wanted for murder were untrue, however, he did have other charges against him. Disturbance of the peace and criminal trespassing are already on Miller’s plate. Maughan is advising Miller not to post the one million dollar bail, any guesses as to who would be paying that one?
