Suge Knight Sued, Again.

On March 25th, an Attorney named Amanda Metcalf filed a suit against Tha Row Records, Suge Knight, Dick Griffey, Solar Records, Founders Bank Of Commerce, and others. The charges are alleging fraud/deceit, constructive trust, conversion, conspiracy, breach of contract, intentional interference with economic relations, unfair business practices and declaratory relief. She is seeking more than $1,333,000 in damages.

Metcalf had represented Dick Griffey in 1996 in lawsuit against Suge and Interscope founders Ted Fields and Jimmy Iovine. Metcalf claims that Griffey, Knight, and other conspired to keep her from her share of the $4 million that Griffey was awarded by the courts. According to their contract, Metclaf was entitled to 33%.

After the judgment Griffey apparently had private meetings with Suge (while he was in prison) and received $600,000 from him which she was not informed about. Metcalf says that in February of 2000 Griffey agreed to pay her fees by September of that year but has not yet paid her or contacted her. The status of the suit will be evaluated at a conference on June 18th. HHDX will keep you informed.
