Vast Aire Solo Debut Moved Forward

It has been three years since Cannibal Ox dropped their seminal debut “The Cold Vein” on Def Jux. Along with El-P’s production, Vast Aire and Vordul’s ying and yang rhymes earned them a large fanbase that has been hungry for a follow up. While they will not get another Can Ox album anytime soon, they will get solo albums from each emcee.

Harlem-bred Vast Aire will release his solo debut “Look Mom No Hands” via Chocolate Industries on April 20th. The album was originally slated for a April 27th release but it was moved forward after the album leaked to the Internet. Vast is backed by production from Madlib, Rjd2, Jake One, Da Beatmierz, MF DOOM, Cryptic One and Ayatollah.
