Jigga and Jeezy’s 99th Problem

    S. Carter may have 99 problems but wrestler Diamond Dallas Page is trying to create one more.

Jigga, known as a rap star/mogul, (but not a business man…a business, man!) has repeatedly thrown up the “Roc” symbol in videos, album covers, concerts and various photographs. The wrestler, also known as DDP has a problem with that.

1Wrestling.com has reported that DDP filed a lawsuit against Young Hov claiming copyright infringement. DDP has been throwing up his version of the symbol, known to wrestling fans as The Diamond Cutter since his days with the WCW in 1996 and continues to do it in his recent book, Yoga For Regular Guys.

Another of Jay’s artists has caught some heat over a symbol. As many have reported, some have been outraged over the Snowman figure that appears on Young Jeezy t-shirts. Many, including CNN have claimed it is used to symbolize drug dealers and/or cocaine. Jeezy responded to the flack he’s been receiving over the menacing Snowman symbol.

“To be honest with you, it never meant anything,” Jeezy told MTV.com . “It meant what we stand for. It’s ours, it’s the streets. CNN ain’t got nothing to do with it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not changing, but I never said the Snowman meant ‘Go outside and sell some drugs.’ The Snowman is my alter ego. I made it out of the ‘hood. I’m not a rap star, I’m not a superstar, I’m a trap star. That’s who I am.”

Jeezy continued to express his displeasure with folks that are trying to ban the Snowman and those trying to figure out what it truly means.

“I’m not finnin’ to go on TV and say, ‘[The Snowman] stands for this or that,’ it’s none of your business. It stands for whatever you want it to stand for, it could stand or Christmastime or whatever. But in the ‘hood, it stands for ‘You know what, he’s just like me. You can’t ban the Snowman, he is what I am. He came from where I came from.’ “
