Tom Green Gets Geto

HipHopDX ran a story about comedian/TV personality Tom Green’s forthcoming rap album last year. The album is still in the works and recently, Green has added a new guest for his Hip-Hop LP.

In his own blog, Green has a video of an encounter between him and Geto Boys’ Bushwick Bill. In the clip, the two are sitting in a Mercedez Benz while listening to some cuts off of Green new record.

During the session, The One Eyed Bandit Bill explains his excitement about working with the comedian while Spice 1 was on the phone. “It’s raw and it’s different. It don’t sound like nobody else’s sh-t. That’s what I’m loving,” he said to Spice.

“Tom Green coming like Big Daddy Kane…the music is slammin’. He got a little hint of the Beastie Boys [with the beat], but it ain’t no Beastie Boy rap. It ain’t no Kid Rock rap. It ain’t none of that. It’s just raw. He ain’t even on the Emeinem tip. His shit totally different…Sh-t’s off the chain. Sh-t is so serious,” Bill said to Spice 1.

“Spice 1, Bushwick Bill and Tom Green: Tell me that wouldn’t be some outrageous shit,” the ex-Geto Boys rapper exclaimed.

“I haven’t been this excited about a rap record since I first learned how to rap. It was music like this that made me want to learn how to rap,” he told Green.

“Thanks for the kind words Bushwick, lets rap tommorow. You and Spice One gotta lay down some shit with me an EZ MIke. Word,” Green wrote in his blog.

The two may collaborate on a project soon.
