Jin Rocks With a Legend (EXCLUSIVE)

A hip hop legend will join various underground sensations in concert. Recently, it was announced that Big Daddy Kane will grace the Nokia Theatre stage along with performers like Pete Rock, MF Doom, Little Brother and Jin (The Emcee).

Jin spoke to HiphopDX about what the show meant for him and how excited he was about the artists included in the bill.

“I just thought what an honor it would be to share the stage with a legend like BDK. A big fan of Little Brother..and I’m just getting into Doom’s stuff. I think it should be a dope crowd,” he said.

Furthermore, Jin exclusively spoke to us about what Big Daddy Kane and others brought to the table.

“It’s always a good thing to be able to see legends rockin’ the crowd. Knowin’ that these guys paved the way for younger cats like myself, I have the utmost respect for them,” he added.

So, what’s next for the ex Ruff Ryder?

“I’m working on the next album, but before that drops I got a follow up to the ‘Properganda’ droppin’ called ‘A Bunch of Songs and Some Freestyles’…Not really a mixtape…Not really an album,” he said of future releases.

His latest album, “The Emcee’s Properganda” is in stores now.
