When fans heard Bossy by Kelis, they immediately felt a new album coming. After setting a new date for the album, fans will have to wait even longer. Her new project Kelis Was Here was meant to drop June 13, but recently it has been bumped all the way to August.
Expect to hear big names in Hip-Hop featured on her next record. Asife drom her husband Nas, the singer has enlisted help from other acts such as Too Short, Linda Perry, Raphael Saadiq, Will.I.Am and others.
For now, she’s ready to give fans something to eat. The star has been working on a new cook book, which she claims will help many who are afraid of the heat in the kitchen.
”Most of my girlfriends don’t cook ’cause they think it’s too much work. In the book I show people the basics so they don’t get intimidated,” she said of the book.
