Jay-Z Hints at a Comeback

Jay-Z already wowed crowds when he appeared in front of many for the Reasonable Doubt Anniversary show. Fans wondered: Could the Jigga-Man come back to the game?

    The answer may be shocking.

Rumors have been flying about Jay-Z comebacks since the day he claimed he’d retire. Why not? He’s been claiming he’d retire after almost every album. Since he’s been putting out so much work with various guest spots, it seemed as though Jay would be back with a solo album soon. And now, those rumors are gaining steam.

Recently Pharrell Williams spoke to Billboard about a new track he is recording for Jay-Z. The N.E.R.D rapper/producer/singer is still somewhat reluctant to give details on the project, though.

”I don’t like talking about sh*t like that,” he said of the top-secret work. ”I like people to hear the record.”

A week ago, Jay opened up to the Associated Press about the comeback. He admitted to thinking about a comeback and added some optimistic words for fans.

“I believe the industry as a whole needs certain events to happen to sustain it and keep it alive. You need (Dr.) Dre albums, you need Eminem albums you need 50 (Cent) albums, you need big artists, you need major events that happen. … So when I look at it in those terms, I believe that an album is needed.”

Time will tell if Jay in fact does come back like Jordan wearing the 45. But the signs seem to be in place.

    DX will keep you posted.
