Halle Berry’s ready to school you. The actress’ next film project will have her starring as a teacher turned politician.
The film, titled Class Act, is one based on the true story of Tierny Cahill. Cahill, from Reno, Nevada accepted a challenge raised to her by students and ran for Congress in 2002.
The DreamWorks picture is also rare because it features Berry, an African American actress playing a role of Cahill, who is actually white. Many sources have said producers were simply looking for the best actress to play the role and

Currently, Berry is also featured in Thing We Lost in the Fire and Perfect Stranger, which will be released May 2007.
