Jay-Z Collaborates With Fall Out Boy?

Now that Jay-Z is officially out of retirement, he’s wasted no time collaborating with other artists.

In addition to dropping his latest studio album, Kingdom Come, Hov hit the studio with rock group Fall Out Boy and will appear on their upcoming LP, Infinity.

Unfortunately the Def Jam president doesn’t kick a sixteen on the album, but he is the first voice heard. Jay-Z’s message is directed at the Fall Out Boy fans who continue to support the group.

Members of the band were thrilled to have Jay open the disc.

“It’s so important to begin strong, and I don’t think you can start much stronger than this,” bassist Pete Wentz told MTV News. “This
is a message recorded directly to our fans — it’s one of the few times
on the record where we speak directly to them, and I think it’s amazing
that Jay is having a conversation with our fans. Also, it’s a snapshot
of where we are right now. And years from now, when I’m laying in some
gutter somewhere, Jay-Z will still be on this record.”
