Not one month
since offering up the free Talib Kweli/Madlib collab Liberation on
their website, Stones Throw plans to feed their hungry underground following
once more this Monday. Chrome Children Vol. 2, the sequel to the
popular Adult Swim-sponsored mix from late last year, will be a free feature
download at www.StonesThrow.com starting the 29th and ending exactly one month
later.
The mix,
originally intended for release with a coinciding Madvillain doll by Kidrobot,
consists of entirely new material. Confirmed artists include Oh No and Roc C,
while an appearance by Stones Throw figurehead Madlib is undetermined.
