According
to the New York Post, federal marshals
searching for Bloods drug dealer Jared
Gomes have alleged that Gomes is
affiliated with rapper Cam’Ron. The
connection was made when Gomes was
spotted at one of Cam’Ron’s parties
last summer.
The manhunt
goes back far; in August, feds crashed several MTV Video Music Awards after-parties, but to no avail.
Gomes has been on the run since December
2005, where police and federal agents alike uncovered a widespread drug and
weapons-dealing ring, coming up with 16 arrests. Gomes was lucky enough to escape the arrest, which yielded more
than 50 weapons from being sold. According to federal agents, Gomes is the lead suspect in a Co-op City
shooting and a shooting in North
Carolina.
Now,
federal agents are investigating Gomes’ possible
link to Dipset, Cam’Ron’s label. According to the feds, they were tipped off that Gomes was at a party thrown by Cam’Ron in July, in Harlem.
A spokesman
for Cam’Ron said that the rapper “has
nothing to do with anyone who is a fugitive.”
Anyone with
