The Westchester’s District Attorney’s office has filed a motion requesting a judge to dismiss the weapons and drug charges against Jadakiss. Although not official, the dismissal will be granted once the judge grants it.
The rapper and two friends were arrested last October after police detected marijuana coming from their vehicle. Following a search of the car and illegal firearm was found.
According to New York Newsday, the motion sought by D.A. will dismiss charges both against Jadakiss and co-defendant Kristian Smith. The third defendant, Darnell Frazier, was cleared due to DNA tests.
