Keefe D has claimed that Diddy once placed a $1 million bounty on 2Pac.
Keefe D, who is awaiting trial for the murder of 2Pac, made the claim to the police with documents relating to the interview now surfacing via USA Today.
The Los Angeles gang member also submitted the transcripts of those interviews as part of his defense.
In a statement, Diddy reiterated his denial that he was involved with the death of 2Pac.
Through his attorney, he says: “Mr. Combs’s acquittal on the trafficking and RICO charges proves what we have been saying about the civil cases since day one: they are all fabricated attempts to extort windfall payments from an innocent man.”
Keefe D has also repeatedly denied having anything to do with 2Pac’s murder.
While awaiting trial for the murder of the rap legend, Keefe D was sentenced for his role in a prison brawl.
Keefe D was sentenced to between 16 and 40 months behind bars.
During the trial, Keefe D had said that he had done nothing wrong: “I was attacked. It was wrong, I know not to fight in the jail. The guy attacked me.”
He also told the court: “My parents brought me up to protect myself, and that’s all I was doing, protecting myself, and this is totally wrong, man.”
As Keefe D will remain in jail until the 2Pac trial, it is likely he will serve the majority of his sentence while being held without bail with proceedings not scheduled to start until February.
Keefe D has repeatedly attempted to get the charges against him for killing 2Pac dropped.
In a recent motion to dismiss the case, Keefe D argues there is a lack of evidence against him.
The filing states: “This prosecution has captured worldwide attention. The global public is watching how Nevada upholds due process, fairness, and the rule of law in one of the most closely scrutinized criminal proceedings in recent memory.”
It adds: “Nevada law is unambiguous: a conviction cannot rest solely on an uncorroborated extrajudicial statement. The State has offered nothing to corroborate the trustworthiness of Mr. Davis’s alleged statements, and nothing independently connecting him to the murder itself.”
Diddy put a hit out on Justin Bieber,Usher, Lil Rod, and Meek Mill’s Cheeks over the last few years.
Everybody knew this despite the East Coast denials. A couple of the Outlawz said Jimmy Henchman was calling Pac’s phone summer of 96 talking about they had a price on his head. But Sean and them din do nothing. They were just innocent bystanders, getting nut on his nipples while that bully Pac was going at him and Biggie.
“Naw, that wasn’t nut. I was taking Ciroc to the chest.”
