On Saturday September 6 and Sunday September 7, Nashville will be home the First Annual Tennessee Music Conference and Hip Hop Awards. The series of events is hosted by Tennessee natives Young Buck [click to read] and Jive Records‘ Freddy Hydro.
Buck will also be performing, along with confirmed artists Grandaddy Souf, All-Star and others. Panel speakers at the events include Haystak, La Chat and Mr. Serv-On. Both 8Ball & MJG [click to read] and Three 6 Mafia [click to read] are hopeful attendees to organizers.
“We want to honor
and pay homage to the people who have helped to develop the Tennessee Hip Hop
market to what it is, and work as a state to help to continue to build
the market,” a statement from the events website site said, continuing,
“This event will help to establish a foundation in which the Tennessee music
community can use to help grow and develop their careers in music.”
