Master P‘s son Hercy Miller has been arrested and accused of stealing refrigerators alongside two of his Southern Utah University Thunderbirds teammates.
According to a report from KSL News, 24-year-old Miller along with teammates Brock Felder and Peter Dadson Jr. were arrested on one count of theft on November 27. The men are accused of stealing two $1,500 refrigerators from the loading dock of their campus bookstore.
Security footage captured them loading the fridges into their cars earlier that month, and police later observed the appliances in their respective apartments.
P’s son and Dadson Jr. told police they thought the refrigerators were trash because they’d been on the loading dock for “almost a month.”
The trio spent the night in jail and were released the following day on Thanksgiving.
Talking to TMZ, Thunderbirds head coach Rob Jeter called the incident a misunderstanding and said SUU is “working to get this thing resolved quickly.”
In other news, Master P has been named the official “entertainment ambassador” for the next Super Bowl.
New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell made the announcement during a press conference in August.
Super Bowl LIX is set to go down at the Caesars Superdome in the Crescent City on February 9, 2025, and the mayor used the press conference to announce some plans for the big day and beyond.
She began praising Master P as someone who “[demonstrates] the real resiliency of this community” and who shows that “there’s no limit when you put your mind on accomplishing great things for the city of New Orleans.”
“We are announcing Master P as the New Orleans entertainment ambassador,” she continued.
The Mayor announced that the entertainment ambassador initiative will involving creating what she called a “No Limit platform” to “stimulate educational and cultural opportunities for the city of New Orleans and her residents.”
“This will be a collaborative of New Orleans entertainment advisors for film, television and music,” she continued.
The initiative will involve classes to teach entertainment business skills, and there is also room for Master P to expand its efforts.
“Master P has the clout to connect New Orleans to more major special events [and] opportunities at every single level,” Mayor Cantrell said. “[He] will be a force multiplier for our culture, cementing our city on the world stage.”
Master P took the podium following the mayor.
“To bridge the wealth gap, there’s a lot of things that we have to do to put money back into our culture,” he said. “We have to teach entrepreneurship, we have to teach leadership, and we have to focus on the younger people in this community… I want more for the city of New Orleans.”
Man, given the opportunity (((they))) just can’t help themselves. But it’s socioeconomic factors, right? Hahahaha!
You couldn’t help but bring race into it, huh? Always going with the race card SMH
Pulling the race card is when you try to get out of a bad situation by constantly blaming it on racism. What he did is state an opinion about race
White people shoot up elementary schools but if I brought that shit up, you’d be mad
No, I wouldn’t be mad at all . I’d say that you’re an idiot for taking about something that’s completely irrelevant to this story. Are you this slow in real life or are you just trolling?
id also back up the fact that black on black shootings over 10000X more PER WEEKEND than 1 school shooting, what maybe once a year.. lolllllll i know numbers and math arent your strong sui tthough
There were 12 school shootings in California alone this year. You can easily look this up but you chose not to. You have zero credibility.
Did it not occur to these two grown ass men to ask the owner of the loading deck if the refrigerators were actually trash ? All they had to do was knock on a door.
You can’t fix stupid
see what happened was, he is black so hes born into poverty and had no choice but to steal to turn a profit in racist white america. hes definitely not a nepo baby with privileges beyond his dreams.
I know “thuggin'” runs in their family, but C-Murder didn’t turn it off, and look where that got him.
