T.I.‘s [click to read] year in 2008 was quite tumultuous and eventful. With the burdens of an arrest, a slew of charges and a critically acclaimed chart topping album, Paper Trail, he stayed busy. Now, T.I. is focusing on doing more work in communities that need assistance and a new reality television series. T.I.’s charitable works will continue, this time, through a concert in Florida.
T.I. is slated to perform at a benefit concert on March 5, one that will help an underserved area and to assist in the building of a community center. The event will take place at the University of Central Florida Arena.
The concert was put together by Bailey’s B.A.S.H., a non profit organization that provides various services for communities that need assistance.
B.A.S.H’s work includes many different services to help in various facets of living.
“We are committed to rebuilding and strengthening our communities, one family at a time, through education, business exposure, opportunities, housing, and rehabilitation,” the organization’s site tells its readers.
Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster for prices ranging from $50-$80. College students can get a ten dollar discount with proof of identification and radio listeners in the area can win free tickets from the local stations sponsoring the event.
The event will be held March 5 at 7:30pm.
