Cam’ron‘s highly anticipated debut Crime Pays [click to read] is projected to sell between 40-45,000 in its first week, according to HitsDailyDouble.com.
The website also predicts that the album will debut at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 next week. If those figures are correct, it would be the lowest-selling no.1 album of all time.
However, initial reports may not be correct – according to XXLMag.com, representatives at Cam’ron‘s label, Asylum, said they believe Killa Cam‘s latest outing is going to make a much bigger splash on the charts.
Cam‘s top Hip Hop competition for the week is labelmate Paul Wall, whose album Fast Life [click to read] is expected to log in about 15-20,000 units.
