DX News Bits: Rick Ross, Twitter and Cam’ron

    Rick Ross [click to read] and his crew The Triple C’s will now be drinking 1800 Tequilla’s Select Silver, a 100 proof clear tequila. They are now officially endorsing the brand.

    In other news, Twitter followers may have been fooled into thinking they were following celebrities at times. Impersonators found it easy to act as artists, but many celebrities became irate with this. Kanye West showed his anger with the company in May.

    The heads of Twitter knew I didn’t have a Twitter and they have to know which accounts have high activity on them,” he said through his blog. “Why would I use Twitter? I only blog five percent of what I’m up to in the first place… Everything that Twitter offers I need less of.”

    Speaking of lawsuits, Cam’Ron [click to read] and Sisqo are both being sued by the NY law firm of Pryor Cashman, according to TMZ [click here]. The report says the two are being sued for not paying bills on trademark work the firm helped them with in the last five years.

    According to the report, Cam owes the firm more than $40,000 while Sisqo owes close to $20,000.
