New York emcee Donny Goines revealed that he will be releasing 20X, a six-track EP later this month. The acclaimed unsigned rapper teams with coutre line Rocksmith Tokyo to bring this digital release to the public.
Although no specific date has been announced, the collection, sponsored by the eight year-old Japanese brand will see production from such underground New York Rap producers as The Apple Juice Kid, 6th Sense, DJ Static and M-Phazes. The last producer teamed with Donny to release “No Apologies” .
“I’m very excited about 20X,” Donny explained in a statement. “I’ve been working hard on my craft these past couple of months and I think people will notice when they hear 20X. Working diligently with Ariel Borujow of Westward Music, the producers and staff of Stadium Red Studios I’ve created an EP that I believe will properly illustrate my growth and artistic capabilities.”
Last year, Goines released The Breakfast Club , a free digital collection of songs.
