After making two trips to visit an East Hampton home that she believed was Diddy’s, a woman from Jacksonville, Florida has been arrested. The woman, Cemelia Green claimed she was Diddy’s wife but those visits only got her arrested.
The bust came as a maintenance worker at the home, which was not Diddy’s home after all, saw her trying to break in. Green was later released on $5,000 bail after pleading not guilty to charges of criminal mischief and trespassing. She also underwent a psychological evaluation while detained.
East Hampton Town Police Chief Todd Sarris spoke on the matter to E! News.
“It wasn’t really his residence,” he said. “She had emotional issues she was dealing with, and for some reason she had the delusion she was married to him. She went to a house she thought was Combs’ and attempted to break in.”
Diddy has not issued a statement on the matter as of yet.
