In a recent article featured in Rolling Stone’s October issue, Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg revealed that the Detroit sensation may not embark on an extensive tour anytime soon. Citing Em’s work schedule for mentor Dr. Dre’s long awaited Detox, Rosenberg indicated that Em may only perform a few select dates this year.
“I wish I could say there were more shows scheduled,” Rosenberg told the magazine. “He felt great about the gigs [with Jay-Z] and hopefully that will push him toward doing more – but we’ll see if he has the appetite for that.”
This news comes right on the tail of a series of four performances last month that found Em reuniting with “Renegade” partner Jay-Z. The sold-out performances were held both in Detroit and Yankees Stadium in the Bronx.

Faber said it best Shady don’t have to tour for the money plus he don’t even gotta tour to boost sales the figures already prove that.
I don’t think he will do another major tour without his original hype man Proof that wouldn’t seem right plus he’s a family man he’s said in the best he don’t like being away from his girls for too long.

i saw him at yankee stadium it was amazing cept if you didn’t know all words to his songs(which i did for most) you couldn’t understand what he was saying because the acoustics at Yankee stadium were so bad hopefully hell do more more shows

Eminem doesn’t have to tour unlike other recording artist. His albums are going to sell like crazy regardless. Thats the only point of touring in the first place, to only promote the album. It’s also a good way to make more money but it’s all about increasing record sells. Something eminem doesn’t need help doing. Recovery is currently the best selling album of 2010!!
Eminem don’t have to tour anymore. When you’re that big, that rich, you do it for the love and when you fucking feel like it.
I’m a big fan of Em… Went to the Detroit show and everything. Personally I think when your that big you in fact SHOULD tour. I feel it’s owed to your fans. You sell more than anyone else out the gate and all year period, but you don’t return the favor????
Em doesn’t owe his fans a tour. There are 2 reasons to tour: to promote your album (he doesn’t need this) and to make more money (he’s filthy rich). If he wants to chill at home with his kids and help Dre make Detox, more power to him.

Eminem himself stated that one of the major reasons he had to battle with addiction in the first place was because of touring. Now, I love Em, and I would love to see him live, but I don’t want him to fuckin die.

eminem is my fucking hero. I have so much respect for that man. It takes a lot of guts to put out an album like recovery. Em is a true inspiration and if a tour consists of two cities, i’m in atlanta, i’ll buy the f’n dvd, and slap it up on my 3d Samsung Home Video and be right there. He’s earned the right to do what he wants when he wants.
