Comedy rap trio and Saturday Night Live team the Lonely Island surprised listeners last year with their humorous but ironically genuine parody album Increibad. Now, the trio – which is comprised of SNL star Andy Samberg and writers/directors Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone – has announced their plans to release their sophomore LP in 2011.
Although Lonely Island’s previous effort found the group collaborating with hit-makers like Justin Timberlake and T-Pain, the group also looked to some of underground Hip Hop’s elite for support. They enlisted the help of a number of prolific independent producers, including J-Zone (R.A. the Rugged Man’s “Brawl,” Cage’s “Stoney Lodge”), Jurassic 5’s DJ Nu-Mark and Wyshmaster (Tech N9ne’s “Sickology 101,” Nelly’s “U Ain’t Him”).
While there are few details available about the album, the trio released a YouTube video that features a short snippet of a song which may appear on the album (see below). DX will keep you updated as more information is revealed.

while I’m sure anyone can argue this should not be on a hip hop site, that Dick IN a Box video was funny as fuck.
I can definitely see your point, but these guys actually have better songs than most of the shit that passes for hip-hop on the radio.
yea for being a parody album, every song was actually good from an artistic standpoint. and fuckin hilarious.
They need to do I’m On A Boat Part II, and put Kanye on it, cause Ye’s raps be funny as hell sometimes. Matter fact, they should make it I’m On A Plane, and instead of talking about f*cking a mermaid, Ye can talk abt how he f*cked a bird.
