Kanye West To Perform During Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

    It has been announced that the same week Kanye West releases his new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, he will perform before at one of the United States’ most celebrated holiday traditions, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The 84th annual parade will take place on New York City’s 34th Street on Thanksgiving day, where the famed department store’s flagship location sits.

    Although no announcements have been made as to what Kanye West will perform, the November 25th televised live appearance will likely include cuts from his album, released that Monday. West shares the bill with Jessica Simpson and Gladys Knight.

    Network NBC will feature the televised affair, and will begin airing at 9am EST. (November 3)

    UPDATE: Yesterday (November 23), Kanye West was seen rehearsing “Lost In The World” for tomorrow’s performance. The song, which appears on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, features Bon Iver and co-production by longtime collaborator Jeff Bhasker.
