Following his arrest on Wednesday (January 2), Juelz Santana posted his $125,000 bail.
The rapper was arrested after police found marijuana and weapons in his New Jersey recording studio last month. He was taken into custody on four counts of narcotic and weapons charges.
Upon his release, the Dipset rapper took to Twitter to let his followers know that he was out, all the while maintaining his innocence.

Santana discussed the matter with MTV News, saying he’s been targeted by New Jersey police.
“Jersey, their laws is a little bit different. I’m definitely a target out here just because of who I am,” he explained. “They pull me over… [there’s] only one way to get to my studio, so every day I gotta take that route when I’m going to my studio in Jersey, so I get pulled over at least three times a week, ’cause they know all my cars. They looking to get me, regardless,” he said. “I don’t know why. I haven’t done anything. I do music. I’m not selling drugs like they said I was doing. I’m not doing none of those things. So at the end of the day, I just don’t understand their need to imply all the things that they trying to imply.”

Real talk, all of these rappers going to jail because of gun charges. If they are portraying a street gangster image, I guess they are afraid of getting robbed and being embarrassed in the streets. But, would you rather get robbed for something you can replace or go to jail for carrying a weapon? Going to jail does nothing for your career. Most of these rappers are pussies that talk tough; actors on wax. They actually display very little intellect when it comes to real life situations.

Mhhhh!! What can I say about Santana? Well, I remember watching a ‘Smack DVD’ that featured him and, he was smoking a lot of weed and showing off how much he had. He also had a case full of jewelery and, later on him and the Dipsets were showing guns off. How can you not attract Police when you put such images on DVD?
You don’t see Jay-Z doing things like that because, even if he has all that, it’s his private life but, certain rappers feel the need to get extra attention and then they attract the wrong attention in the end. I blame the artists themselves.
