Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond Pleads Not Guilty Following Drug Arrest

On the run from police for the past month, Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond was arrested early today by DEA agents in connection with heading a cocaine trafficking ring that operated bi-coastally.

According to the NY Post, the 46-year-old was found leaving the W Hotel in New York City’s Union Square. He tried to outrun agents before he was finally arrested on 21st Street and Park Ave. South.

The media mogul, who manages Akon and Brandy, will be arraigned later today in Brooklyn Federal Court. Two informants who were “high-ranking members of Rosemond’s organization” aided the probe, which investigated his involvement in shipping hundreds of kilos of cocaine from the West Coast to New York.

    [June 21]

UPDATE: According to the Wall Street Journal, Rosemond has pleaded “not guilty to intentionally conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, witness tampering and obstruction of justice.” He is currently being held without bond.

“This indictment was built on the backs of witnesses that have been threatened and bribed by federal prosecutors,” said his lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman. “And I plan to expose all of it. If the government wants a fight, they’re going to get a fight.”

    1. hope he got some jail time and get fucked in the ass real hard looking at a 2pac poster on the wall thinking bout how karma is a bitch

      biaaaatch

    2. This guy’s stupidity knows no bounds. He’s on the run and decides he’s going to do so by living it up instead of going underground. He’s got serious problems, he won’t be getting bail and it looks like he’s guilty as hell. Hope they don’t start piling more charges, like murder.

      1. Too bad he’s the stereotypical guy in America destroying the communities and potentially ruining Hip Hop with Pac’s death.

    3. When they say “on the run” did they mean “sitting on his ass”? Dumbass didnt even leave the state?

      1. Damn…. I’m looking at your forehead, or fivehead….??!!! And, if you hate/dislike a group of ppl, why you put their name within your name???

    4. He couldn’t run if he wanted to. By the time he knew Feds were “looking” for him, don’t you think they probably already knew where he was? Usually feds will watch you do your thing for years just to build up a big case before they go after you. He couldn’t hide. He was already done.

    5. Ok someone need to let me know something here, because i am missing info, you got millions, you are on the run from the fed, but you are staying in a hotel in NYC, you are not in Cuba or Russia. are all black men Stupid and uneducated only thing they know how too do is comitted crimes

      1. Wow, what a broad statement. Don’t take one mans actions and let that set the foundation for a whole people. I’m putting you on time out.

      1. Just listened to that song for the first time in like 5 years last night. The third verse is crazy too cause he starts off saying how crooked puffy is and how Biggies dead even though Biggie died a year later.

    6. What a dumb ass! He’s got Feds after him and he’s living it up in a luxury NY hotel- chillin’. Union Square of all places. You can have all the money in the world but it wont buy you a brain or some common sense.

    7. NY? I thought this dude would be in Haiti or something? Or anywhere out the country. Mothafuckahs don’t think nowadays…some old, some young…smh!

    8. People are failing to realize here that if the DEA was after him, he would have had a hell of a time crossing any borders.

      1. Most of the people here are kids under the age of 22 who think they are part Entertainment mogul, part A&R, part marketing wizard, part legal expert…

Sadly, for them at least, they aren’t close to any of these and spend much of their time arguing the validity of millionaires from the comforts of their mothers’ basements.

    9. puffy you got yo friend killed over shit, pac called you out,or
you got the white man by your side, illuminati

    10. Caught em in NY?? I thought at least this ni99a wouldve made it to Haiti. A millionaire wouldve been chillin in Cuba or Brazil. Henchman aint gottit like poeple think.

Jimmy ain’t got it like people think he do because with the minimum of cash he could have drove to Florida and hired a boat to Haiti

In Midtown NYC he must have been coming from his office – maybe he didn’t know the Feds wanted him… maybe! lmao

    11. Damn, He’s done. His shooters turned on him and snitched. I always wonder what the snitches get in return for helping the police, probably not much. They threw him right under the bus.

    12. With thanks to the cooperative G unit snitch line. are u a G in disstress and afraid to call the cops yourself??? Dial G unit snitch line and they will call the pigs for you.

      1. Offcourse we do. You hip hop fans are the worst. First you vote 4 the villain and then when you meet a real one you’re against it. Henchmen is how a gangsta is. Ands we love the G unit snitch line and all their turn coat snitches

      1. He’s actually not. He’s pointing out the real from the fake. All these faggot ass rappers claiming the street life (drugs, guns, money, etc.) ain’t really doing it. Henchmen did and is going down like a real gangsta does.

    13. I don’t think this guy was serious about being on the run, maybe just biding sometime before getting in the belly of the beast

    14. “This indictment was built on the backs of witnesses that have been threatened and bribed by federal prosecutors,” said his lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman. “And I plan to expose all of it. If the government wants a fight, they’re going to get a fight.”

Sure, buddy. At least it sounds good.

Man put this nigga henchman under the gatdamn jail. Seriously.

I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, GuruBids . com

    17. I heard he was light skinned, stocky with a Haitian accent
Jewelery, fast cars and he’s known for flashing
Listen while I take you back and lace this rap
A real live tale about a snitch named Haitian Jack
Knew he was workin for the feds, same crime, different trials

Puffy gettin robbed like a bitch, to hide the facts
He did some shit he shouldn’t have did, so we ride him for that
And that nigga that was down for me, restin dead
Switch sides, guess his new friends wanted him dead
Probably be murdered for the shit that I said
I bring the real, be a legend, breathin or dead

    18. Dam hate to say this. But 50cent and tony yayo are snitching.Any one they have beef with get there bank on hold, get 3o years or more,Shot/at, or cant get away from once being part of G unit. Used to be a 50 fan.But them Ny Og’s are right. This nigga telling. Sup To the Team,Anthoy jones and and the real gangsters at ADX.

      1. Do you think the feds would view 50 Cent as a credible witness to Henchman supplying cocaine to two different coasts? Would they really build a case from that? Would a jury take it seriously? Plus, the article said that two of Henchman’s top guys were snitching.
