    1. Shittttt Royce went the fuck in on this, thats the hardest i’ve heard him spit for a while. Big Track

      1. Agreed i was kinda worried bout all of em really. But they came pretty hard on this one. I’m really starting to think Crooked I is the best spitter. They all tight rappers I think Joey and royce are better on there own tho

      1. Because he murders their favorite rapper. Your favorite would trade his entire posession to have one Battle Cry to his name.

    2. Forgettable. No replay value. No charisma. I mean how many times can you fans replay the same punchline and STILL laugh at it, if at all? Go pick up something innovative like Ab-Soul’s Control System. Black Hippy >

      1. huh? same punchlines? either u have a.d.d or just that silly how ya hating the slaughterhouse i mean black hippy are dope but against them slaughter boys? nah no comp

      2. You misunderstood what I was saying. I didn’t say they SPIT the same punchlines. I was asking fans how they can replay a song full of punchlines over and over without it getting old quickly. Which is why I expressed my opinion of many of their songs not having much replay value. How am I hating? I love when hip-hop nerds find a new artist that is praised as hip-hop’s savior, than they jump on the bandwagon and call anyone a hater that doesn’t agree with the musical content.

      3. Both groups are the shit. If ya havent been keeping up, Joe said “it’s a must” to get both the groups together to do a jam.

      4. black hippy gave slaughterhouse a hands down better then them, they are going to collab. soo keep hating

      5. I hope you know that the majority of thought that goes into making sure a song have replay value…goes for the original track not to the mixtape song..the mixtape track is to tear the shit apart..which they did

    3. Why all the hate? This was INSANE for a mere mixtape track. None of your Waynes or Drakes can fuck with this!

      1. mixtape weezy did this time after time on dedication 2, drought series and no ceilings so…sorry son but no

      2. You know that if you put most lyrical rappers against weezy then weezy would end up looking more than uneducated..he’d run out of shit to say sooo fast…kind of like how he already has.. did you hear goulish? shit sucked haha even pusha said shit was trash and he said he didn’t even diss him

      3. Oh god, here we go. Another fan bigging up their favorite artists and shitting on the artists they hate. Why does everyone feel the need to put down Lil Wayne or Drake especially on an unrelated article/song? That just shows that you still see Lil Wayne/Drake as a threat (and I’m not even close to a fan) but you idiots keep their name alive by bringing up their name when it isn’t even necessary. I guess it’s too hard to just listen to the music you like and let others listen to what they like, without hating.

    4. I love when Ortiz goes in. Every single one of them killed this song. HOUSEGANG is all I need in hip hop

    5. GOT DAMM….KEEP HATIN IT JUS SHOWS U HOMOS ARE SCARED……SLAUGHTERHOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    6. The hate on this page is crazy. Its very few people who can do what these men do. these dudes hands down have mastered the art form of rap. Your favorite rapper would never mention any of these guys names in the wrong way. Stop hating on them please. I love this hip hop shit. and these are some of the artist that still keep it alive.

      1. Uhhh. Not even close. Nas bodied it so hard that nobody really jumped on it. They rhymes are hot but nas’ verses lit a spark when it was released a year ago don’t act you forgot

      2. i agree with 123. Slaughterhouse killed it obviously theyre monsters but Nas verses were also sick with wordplay and flow

    7. SLAUGHTERHOUSE DAM HOMIEZ U KILLED YA DIG ! HONESTLY WE ALL KNOW THESE CATZ ARE ILL AS FUCK AND PROLLY THE BEST GROUP TO SPIT CUZ THEY ALL LYRICAL , BUT BUT WE KNOW ALSO THAT THEY WON’T SELL A TON OF ALBUMS.. THEY HAVEN’T HAD THAT BANGING SINGLE WHICH FUCKING AMAZES MYSELF BEING A HUGE EM FAN /SHADY RECORDS ETC WITH HIM AND DRE I MEAN THEY SHOULD BE ON SOME MAJOR TRACK W/DRE ON THE BOARDS AND INCLUDE EM SINGLE LIGHTS OUT , BUT I THINK EM JUST LETTING THEM DO THEY OWN THING MAD RESPECT. THEY ALL KILLED THIS TRACK BUT IM GIVE IT TO ROYCE THIS TIME.. HI HATERZ AND OTHER RAPPERS AT LEAST ATTEMPT TO STEP YOUR BARS UP CUZ SHADY/SLUMERICAN PISSIN ON ALL Y’ALL. BYE HATERZ !

      1. Dre and Em (only for himself) ain’t the driving forcecs they once used to be, this ain’t 2003.

      1. Why you’re on this article & spewing your bullshit towards a group that you don’t like is beyond me.

    8. Because lil wayne and drake are destroying hop-hop with all that dumbed down shit. Stfu man, suppourt real hip-hop that actually has intelligence within it.

      1. @secondanonymous That’s one example, which means its probably a coincidence. I hear Crooked biting Em ALOT for example, check the end of Crooked I’s verse in 2.0 boys and compare it to the chorus of Stay Wide Awake. Or again in 2.0 boys when he “not only heir to the throne, but my chair is suspended in air” which is quite similar to Despicable when Eminem uses the same wordplay. There’s other examples too.

      1. Idiot Death is certain is a classic ..You the kind of dude who listens to Soldier Boy while dancing and looking at yourself in the mirror ..

    9. Crooked I is so much better at this battle rapping then the rest of SH, only Royce can really keep up with him and even he doesnt most of the time. Budden is more of a storyteller and Ortiz is corny.

      1. Crooked is unbeatable at this shit, that’s true, but Joey had the best verses on the last 5 or 6 tracks.

      2. Yeah I have noticed 2011-2012 Joe is getting alot better at this battle rap stuff. I still think hes better on Mood Muzik though.

    10. Lyrical yes, but on a competitive note royce and joel ortiz did it the best rather royce actually

    11. For all these young motherfuckers who JUST found out about slaughterhouse and say they “can’t make a song” they ALL individually have made great music (Minus Crooked I he’s more a freestyle/feature guy) This was amazing as hell lyrically and I’m looking forward to the mixtape. Hell I almost guarantee it will be better than the disappointing album I expect but regardless I’m a fan of them individually first…I think their formula is more of a mixtape formula anyway.

      1. crook CAN and HAS made great music… its just he releases so many freestyles it drowns them out and people sleep on em…

      2. they still cant make a song. Skillz or not.

these dudes been in the game since 1998,2003,5005 and still cant make an album and will never make a dope album

    12. Decent. Just a bunch of metaphors and word play, still not really saying anything though. Thats why these type of acts are not doing good. Make a song we can feel or a song thats saying some shit, instead of a bunch of word play and thats all. Make a fucking song!

      1. Its a freestyle on a beat shut the hell up goddam, if you listened to their album you will hear the story and shit, ungrateful fuck

      2. Damn, fuck you never statisfied lames. If they had released an intrsopective song, you would say “Where are their punchlines?” There will be enough songs of this kind on the album, this is a mixtape where they do what they were founded to: ripping beats a new asshole.

If you want a deep song, let Rain Drops or Pray play in repeat.

    13. …(exhales after song stops) least it sounds like their spitting again…(s/n tired of BUDDEN havin tha last verse in lik 80% of their released shit…)

    14. Royce started of good then it went all out
      Crooked killed it
      Joell niiice (Tyson voice)
Joey turned it into a murder scene

      1. Exactly. FINALLY we go to hear a dope voice of Joell again, the voice presence that made The Brick so dope, not that annoying ass, squeezy tone he was on for the last years.

    15. Anyone who says Slaughter can’t make music ain’t a real fan. These dudes have made more real music than any rapper out right now.
I’ll give ya some recent examples.. 1st Slaughterhouse Album, Royce- Success is Certain, Joe Budden- Mood Muzik 4, , Joell Free Agent, Crooked I- psalm 82 & pigface weapon waist. So back up with the bullshit cause you wanna complain and don’t even buy there music but wanna criticize, clown critics.

      1. You could make a better arguement with Slaughterhouse EP.. & I am a Royce fan, but Success is Certain was not a good album.. it was OKAY at best.

      2. The worst song of Mood Muzik 4 contains more substance than all of the concious rapper’s best shit put together. I have yet to hear a verse that can fuck with the Intro or Black Cloud lyrically.

      3. I loved Success Is Certain it was one of my top 5 albums of 2011

        1. Kendrick Lamar – Section.80
        2. The Roots – undun
        3. Bad Meets Evil – Hell: The Sequel
        4. Danny Brown – XXX
        5. Royce da 5’9″ – Success Is Certain

      4. I picked 5 albums, Reks album was dope as fuck but not as dope as Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme. And Saigon’s album was dope just not in my top 5.

        Just My Opinion

    16. more nerd rap.

Its same bravado type rhymes that you niggas complain about only these rappers use double time flows. Hypocrites lol.

      1. Only that these guys are some of the best at it. I guess you didn’t like Big L? Hip Hop has always been about bragging, get over it.

      2. These fucking bums have recorded more verses than Biggie, Big L, Big Daddy Kane and Big Pun ** COMBINED **…

        Where’s the fucking quality?

      1. this = DOGSHIT

three flop singles + cornball videos now they give away low budget trash

        sounds like a business plan!!!

      2. Who do you like? And three singles that had a small chance of getting on the radio anyway doesn’t make an album..just so you now…person who hasn’t heard anything from the album that we haven’t.

    17. You herbs we merged, we’re an alliance
We fight fire with flame-throwers, why would you try us?
We a outfit, equivalent to Voltron’s
That boy Crooked I’s equivalent to four arms
      Joell Ortiz is the body
The cannibal slash killer, kill you then eat your body
Joe Budden is the pair of legs
He runs shit alongside I, the apparent head
I am the general, bow now
Fuck salutin, I don’t really think y’all niggas get it
Run up on you with an army it is
      On ’til it’s done, finished
You got a problem with any one of my Slaughters
Then y’all niggas can come wit it
Me and Joey we a perfect fit
He likes startin shit, I like endin shit
      I don’t squash the beef, I don’t bend a bit, it ain’t intricate
I’m gon’ shoot yo’ stupid ass
You too could laugh, you gon’ die smilin
Try whylin I get hostile then I’m violent
      I don’t make threats nigga I promise
My style is Stalin mixed with sick lyrics
If you hear it it’ll lift your spirit
Turn your appearance to a disappearance

      1. so LAUGHTERHOUSE ARMY will buy 500,000 copies of the album

4 x 125,000 for each of these ‘stars’

      1. Dude, why are you caring about another man’s physical appearance in a genre of music? You sound mad suspect.

    18. FUUQQ YEEZ MY NIKKAS

    19. Dope, still worried about the album tho, 3 singles, 1 was okay and the other 2 were just painful to listen to. Still gonna peep it when it drops but I have low expectations

    20. way better than those shitty albulm singles but im waitin for good songs from the actual albulm.

    21. NIGGAS TALK ABOUT NAS LYING IN HIS BARS & LIVING A FANTASY LIFE!??

HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE THESE GUYS ACTUALLY SHOT AT???

WAY TOO MUCH GUN TALK. IT GETS CORNY AFTER A WHILE..

      1. You do realize almost every single one of them has caught gun charges right? They aint bullshittin….

      1. You’re talking shit on Black Hippy when Slaughterhouse has come out and said they have nothing but respect for Black Hippy. Hop off the bandwagon b you look like a fucking idiot.

      2. Wow they both are dope as fuck and y’all choose to dickride one or the other. GTFOH it’s all great Hip Hop!

      1. That’s your opinion. I thought it was dope personally. We can both agree the song is dope though.

      2. “bar facts”???!! its BARFAX. you’re hatin on a line that went over your head… smh. this is why crook > 99% rappers out there.

    22. lyrics cool, but they ain’t really rappin ’bout nothin. it there was a topic to this song and they spit like this shit would be fire! but it’s aight…i guess

      1. It’s better than songs like Monsters In My Head where they sound like they were just rapping completely different topics. More coherent this way.

    23. Far from innocent, ya favorite rapper got a head nod/before he approaches check my temperament/I went sleepy hollow shit and got a CAT scan/go to Colorado right now and watch Batman.. haHA shit is funny stupid niggas take shit too serious and FORGOT the shady family does not give a fuck, so expect this type of shit.

Yall should remember Em dropping lines about Columbine just months after that shit: “I take seven kids from Columbine, stand ’em all in line, Add an AK-47, a revolver, a nine,
a Mack-11 and it oughta solve the problem of mine, and that’s a whole school of bullies shot up all at one time” The result? public protests, calls to boycott the album, and demanding music retailers to take it off the shelves. The album sold more than 17 million copies worldwide and is deemed as one of the most controversial albums ever made. Shady artists will say what they want, whenever the fuck they want and want to offend u. get used to it if somehow u new lame ass niggas aren’t already.

      1. all those students that were picking on those 2 kids, they all deserved to die even when the news people were interviewing the students they called the shooters faggots

    24. this is intense… Royce goes harder than ever. Joell went in almost as hard too. Joey and crook went in. Everybody did there thing. Id hand it to Royce on this one for the flow, out of this world ..fuck

      1. Vinnie Paz…def a top10 but he cant take down Crooked and Royce on a song…just because hes not that kind of a rapper with many flows and punchlines after punchlines …again Vinnie Paz with everything he did for hiphop in my book hes a top10 along with Ill Bill and Immortal…thats my opinion

    25. Wack ass group. Why lazy i always copying em? This group will go no where and ho budden should go make music with chingy rofl.

    26. no brainer 5/5 anyone who think otherwise is probably dick riding YMCMB/MMG, and don’t get me wrong i like YMCMB/MMG “well the main 4 in YMCMB the rest is meh.”but i can actually listen to both unlike the dick riders who think anything that’s not YMCMB/MMG sucks lol. Can’t wait for that slaughterhouse album/mixtape but in the meantime I’ll b listening to this Life is Good Album shit is dope best Nas album in a long time.

    27. They resurrected this beat that Nas already killed and fucking RE-MURDERED it. In my opinion Crooked I these days almost has the best verse on every Slaughterhouse track. Amazing track.
