There’s also lot of different emotions that go into a song or an album. not only the lyrics and beat but the way it’s recorded and mixed by an enginner. I feel some people that say its boring or whatever when compared to something else but i’m pretty sure this song wasn’t created to be on the radio. all artists know the formula to sell millions, others like to try to be unique as themselves and revolutionize what a successful song sounds like. We can’t all be the same person, there’s too many variables involved in everything to be so black and white. There’s a perfect song out there for everyone, it just depends on how you’re feeling.

I’ve been saying the same thing since these guys joined back in 09′. I’m glad some others see it the same way. It’s a group of 4 guys who got together only because their solo careers never got off the ground.
If Joe’s career blew up on Def Jam he wouldn’t even know these guys. Remember, him and Royce beefed before they joined as a group, the same year.
Royce attempted mainstream success on his Rock City debut, but that didn’t go anywhere. Once again, if he blew up, he wouldn’t know these guys either. The group just feels forced.

Even with limited success as individuals, these guys are born solo artists and the more music they make together just proves our point.

Man I grew up listening to Eminem and to be honest the dude fell the fuck off. Yeah he can rhyme like a beast but the message he carries nowadays is pure whack. Recovery was a pop album and even though he had some great rhymes none of that shit appealed to me and he hads some of the worst collabs ever on that album.
Slim shady LP was dope. Filled with punchlines and sick fucking bars.
Marshel mathers LP was one of the sickest albums ever released with some of the best concepts for songs and the album had a real dont give a fuck attitude.
Eminem Show was him being real and showing his progress as a huge mainstream rapper but everything after that has been downhill.
On encore he rapped complete nonsense. All it was was him putting anything that rhymed together with no meanings wat so ever.
Relapse he rapped with a retarded accent and recovery was for people who need tampons.
Now this song is whack. I liked slaughterhouse before signing to shady records but now everything from this album hasn’t been great. This tracks sound more like D12 than slaughterhouse.
You summed up Em’s catalogue perfectly. Everything after the Eminem Show has been trash. Someone with his skill is always gonna have a few bright spots on those albums, but the last three have been painful to sit through.
Recovery is definitely not Em’s best album. And even though I do like that album, I find it hilarious that so many people say it’s up to par with his 1st 3 albums. smh
Now, Encore & Relapse… *sigh* With the exception of a few songs, Encore was horrible. Relapse could’ve been much better if he wasn’t rapping with his retarded Jamaican accents. If he was rapping like he was on Underground & was just spittin’ like that throughout the whole album, Relapse would ARGUABLY be his best work. But that’s just me.

It’s sad to see what the actual debut came out to be. We’re talking 4 of the best lyricists with Eminem over-shadowing, and this is the best they came up with. “Throw that dick on you, girl.” I get that they needed to gain a wider audience, with Jimmy Iovine right behind their ass, but I feel that they lost the respect of many long-time fans, just to gain a few new ones. Mostly young teenage bandwagoners.

The worst part of Slaughterhouse is their dickriding fans and their hilarious excuses (for the pop production, pop features, and pop sound). To them, EVERY SINGLE SONG from Slaughterhouse is Gold. I know the game was lacking for a minute but just because these guys are lyrical doesn’t mean you should over-rate them. Being lyrical doesn’t mean you can write good songs. IDC how fast you rap it, or how many rhymes you use, the song can still end up sounding garbage. And to me, Slaughterhouse is really hit or miss. The mixtape was definitely better than the album, and I’ll stick to bumping that.
As a fan, I still enjoy certain songs from them that I will bump to this day, but I can admit when they put out sub-par shit. I’m not a hater, but not a dickrider either. Unfortunately, most fans qualify under those 2 categories. So I appreciate unbiased posts when I see them. I still like a few tracks on the album, but that’s just a few. As a whole, I give it a 6/10. I’ll listen to their solo stuff more than the group stuff. They come off as forced, because in all honesty, they just don’t have the right chemistry together.

I feel some people that say its boring or whatever when compared to something else but i’m pretty sure this song wasn’t created to be on the radio. all artists know the formula to sell millions, others like to try to be unique as themselves and revolutionize what a successful song sounds like. We can’t all be the same person, there’s too many variables involved in everything to be so black and white. There’s a perfect song out there for everyone, it just depends on how you’re feeling.

This shit excuse of an album is undercooked and being hyped up by nerds and dickriders. I like SH’s mixtapes because they have good lyrics but when I set back and objectively listen to their music…it’s just a bunch of nothingness. Almost like listening to a verbal dictionary of random words being read that happened to rhyme…it’s like, “Ok kool words…and?” apart from “Move On” and “Microphone” the majority of SH’s songs suck. I’m not talking about their mixtapes or freestyles..I’m talking about some shit that these guys have crafted from the ground up. These guys aren’t song writers…they truly are battle rappers plain and simple…well with the exception of Joe Budden who needs to get his on solo venture on a major asap and ditch this group because their is no chemistry here. Black Hippy…chemistry…Outkast…chemistry…Wu tang…chemistry…Bone Thugs…chemistry and so on. Slaughterhouse just sounds forced. Open your eyes fan nerds.

I’ve been saying the same thing since these guys joined back in 09′. I’m glad some others see it the same way. It’s a group of 4 guys who got together only because their solo careers never got off the ground.
If Joe’s career blew up on Def Jam he wouldn’t even know these guys. Remember, him and Royce beefed before they joined as a group, the same year.
Royce attempted mainstream success on his Rock City debut, but that didn’t go anywhere. Once again, if he blew up, he wouldn’t know these guys either. The group just feels forced.
Now, i’m anything but a hater as I have purchased almost all of their solo projects, most recently Joell’s Free Agent album. I bought the first Slaughterhouse album and didn’t like it. Even with limited success as individuals, these guys are born solo artists and the more music they make together just proves our point.

Man I grew up listening to Eminem and to be honest the dude fell the fuck off. Yeah he can rhyme like a beast but the message he carries nowadays is pure whack. Recovery was a pop album and even though he had some great rhymes none of that shit appealed to me and he hads some of the worst collabs ever on that album.
Slim shady LP was dope. Filled with punchlines and sick fucking bars.
Marshel mathers LP was one of the sickest albums ever released with some of the best concepts for songs and the album had a real dont give a fuck attitude.
Eminem Show was him being real and showing his progress as a huge mainstream rapper but everything after that has been downhill.
On encore he rapped complete nonsense. All it was was him putting anything that rhymed together with no meanings wat so ever.
Relapse he rapped with a retarded accent and recovery was for people who need tampons.
Now this song is whack. I liked slaughterhouse before signing to shady records but now everything from this album hasn’t been great. This tracks sound more like D12 than slaughterhouse.
You summed up Em’s catalogue perfectly. Everything after the Eminem Show has been trash. Someone with his skill is always gonna have a few bright spots on those albums, but the last three have been painful to sit through.
Recovery is definitely not Em’s best album. And even though I do like that album, I find it hilarious that so many people say it’s up to par with his 1st 3 albums. smh
Now, Encore & Relapse… *sigh* With the exception of a few songs, Encore was horrible. Relapse could’ve been much better if he wasn’t rapping with his retarded Jamaican accents. If he was rapping like he was on Underground & was just spittin’ like that throughout the whole album, Relapse would ARGUABLY be his best work. But that’s just me.

It’s sad to see what the actual debut came out to be. We’re talking 4 of the best lyricists with Eminem over-shadowing, and this is the best they came up with. “Throw that dick on you, girl.” I get that they needed to gain a wider audience, with Jimmy Iovine right behind their ass, but I feel that they lost the respect of many long-time fans, just to gain a few new ones. Mostly young teenage bandwagoners.
I bought the first one, but I will not be supporting this circus music from the new D12. Such lame beats, as if every producer went to their worst beat and kept the rest for someone else. I think Eminem was trying to make a ‘Recovery 2’ with this project. He probly sat them down and said “Now guys, pop is simply short for popular.”
The worst part of Slaughterhouse is their dickriding fans and their hilarious excuses (for the pop production, pop features, and pop sound). To them, EVERY SINGLE SONG from Slaughterhouse is Gold. I know the game was lacking for a minute but just because these guys are lyrical doesn’t mean you should over-rate them. Being lyrical doesn’t mean you can write good songs. IDC how fast you rap it, or how many rhymes you use, the song can still end up sounding garbage. And to me, Slaughterhouse is really hit or miss. The mixtape was definitely better than the album, and I’ll stick to bumping that.
As a fan, I still enjoy certain songs from them that I will bump to this day, but I can admit when they put out sub-par shit. I’m not a hater, but not a dickrider either. Unfortunately, most fans qualify under those 2 categories. So I appreciate unbiased posts when I see them. I still like a few tracks on the album, but that’s just a few. As a whole, I give it a 6/10. I’ll listen to their solo stuff more than the group stuff. They come off as forced, because in all honesty, they just don’t have the right chemistry together.
I’m a big fan of slaughterhouse, but yea I am def disappointed in what this album sounds like it is going to be. On the first album the only commercial appeal song was “The One” which I could tolerate because it was the only bullshit track on the album. This album seems to be riddled with them, I thought the Swizz Beatz track would be the only one not play worthy but it seems that their are a lot more. I will still be getting my copy of the album to support the members of the group because I know they are about real hip-hop. But I feel Em and Interscope are about to ruin the best group of talent they’ve had in a while.
