His voice may be abrasive as fuck in a lot of different ways, but I think it’s hard not to be captivated by it. Real always outdoes a gimmick and Danny Brown always keeps it real. It’s a cocky-ass statement but he’s right when he says that his poetry will be quoted decades later. When Hip-hop is studied like Jazz is now, Danny Brown will be remembered and celebrated. He’s way ahead of his time and has been for the better part of 10 years.
People, i really have to ask, what do you see in this individual?! The guy has luke-warm metaphors but nothing spectacular! I have nothing against a person’s sexuality but isn’t it disturbing the number of “suspected” artists being promoted nowadays. Bottom line, he’s decent lyrically, and his delivery is ok, i don’t feel any real intensity!
