Grammy Award-winning producers Sleepy Brown and Rico Wade, of Organized Noize have announced the launch of their label, 13 Black Records. The pair, which has worked on acclaimed albums from Outkast, En Vogue and Goodie Mob is reportedly soon to announce the label’s first acts.
Last year Wade and Brown, who is also a former Virgin Records artist, produced Nappy Dot Org for the Nappy Roots. Third Organized member Ray Murray is reportedly not involved with the label venture.
