Crooked I took to Twitter earlier this morning to announce that he’s recording his upcoming mixtape, Psalm 82:6, tentatively due for a March 8th release.
According to the West Coast native, the tape will feature a guest appearance from his super group Slaughterhouse. Though the tape hasn’t yet been finished, he gave an update on its progress, stating that he’s already three songs into the project.
The tape will precede Slaughterhouse’s Shady Records debut, welcome to: Our House, scheduled to drop on May 15th.

Crooked I is a great MC who could be one of the best to ever do it, but unfortunately his beat ear isn’t great and although I enjoyed Hip Hop Weekly for what it was, that was years ago and still today dude puts way too much time on freestyles on old beats and mixtapes/EP’s instead of creating that classic album fans want. Fuck all this other shit, just do the Slaughterhouse and give us the solo debut album already, been waitin for that shit longer than the Detox!!
