As Travis Scott Takes Action, All 10 Deceased Astroworld Victims Found To Have Same Cause Of Death

Travis Scott has reportedly spent the last few weeks with leaders from The United States Conference of Mayors (USCM) in an effort to ensure another tragedy like Astroworld never happens again.

According to TMZ, the goal is to create a community comprised of government, public safety, emergency response, health care event management, music and technology who will outline safety precautions prior to each event. They plan to “aggressively focus on new technologies and innovations that offer ways to address these challenges.”

The report will be led by the Chair of the Conference’s Tourism, Art, Parks, Entertainment and Sports Committee as well as Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve.

Astroworld claimed the lives of 10 people and injured hundreds of others. On Thursday (December 16), the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences in Houston published a medical report revealing all 10 victims died from compression asphyxia. In a report obtained by Variety, one victim also had a contributory cause of “combined toxic effects of cocaine, methamphetamine and ethanol.” Other than that, their cause of death was basically being suffocated by external pressure or “respiration prevented by external pressure on the body.”

The first eight victims died shortly after attending the November 5 event at NRG Park in Houston, while the two others passed from their injuries days later. Among them, Ezra Blount, who was just 9 years old.

Harris County released the names of the initial victims November 8: Mirza Baig, 27, Rodolfo Peña, 23, Madison Dubiski, 23, Franco Patiño, 21, Jacob Jurinke, 20, John Hilgert, 14, Axel Acosta Avila, 21, and Brianna Rodriguez, 16. The ninth victim, 22-year-old Bhari Shahani, died on November 11.  The Texas A&M University senior reportedly suffered multiple heart attacks in the midst of the chaotic crowd surge and was ruled brain dead at a local hospital.

Blount, the youngest victim, was placed in a medically-induced coma not long after the incident, but his family was forced to take him off life support on November 14.

Numerous lawsuits have already been filed against Scott, Drake (who was a special guest during Scott’s set) and Live Nation. Scott’s legal team recently filed paperwork asking at least 275 of them to be thrown out. The chart-topping rapper also offered to pay for the funerals of the deceased victims, but most of their families’ declined.

    1. This scumbag continued his act as people were dying in front of him, he started throwing a tantrum when the emergency service made its way through the crowd. Stop pretending you give a shit weirdo

    2. All these people who say the stampede was Travis’s fault reminds me of politicians who blame store owners for a looting because they didnt lock up their merchandise at night.

      1. Thanks for this reply @Real Talk (OG). It takes a person of sound logic to understand that it’s NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE for an artist to control a stampeding crowd. EVEN IF Travis did stop the show when he “allegedly knew” what was going on, there’s no guarantee the people would have survived. The only way this could have gone differently would have been if had directed to people to rush the stage. All the people complaining sound as if they’ve never been to a concert before. Namely one with an open stage plan. Any venue with open seating or standing is mayhem waiting to happen. It’s the responsibility of the venue to ensure (to the best of their ability) the safety of the attendees. A stampede where people are running for their lives is one thing, but one where people are rushing for a better view of the stage falls on the participants. The victims and their families deserve all the condolences in the world and if they do find fault legally, that’s their business. But for the naysayers and people in the gallery to blame the artist and not find fault within the attendees that caused the stampede baffles me. We know for a fact some @$$#ol3s stomped some kids to death, but let’s blame the artist. Let’s ignore their feverish impulses to ignore human life and blame the human they we were willing to kill to see. It’s a great example of blaming the person with deepest pockets, not the person(s) responsible.

        1. Wrong!!! He could have stopped the show instead of amping it up more! This was an issue at several events prior where shows were stopped and lives saved!!!

    3. It was Travis fault he needs to pay the families for the ones that died . And others who were injured. He just watched it happen watch the video.

    4. Travis is NOT at fault! The compression was no different than the capitol riot on Jan. 6th. Who is suing TRUMP? Trump “INCITED” his followers, Travis “EXCITED” his fans. There’s a difference. Travis fans PAID to be at the concert. The capitol rioters were NOT. suppose to be at the capitol. Ppl died at both events! How is Travis responsible & Trump is not? ??‍♀️ Bankrupt TRUMP! He told the rioters to do what they did! Travis did NOT encourage his fans to push, rush, squeeze & shove others. Stop blaming TRAVIS SCOTT!
