Ludacris Sues Texas Couple For Copyright Infringement Of Disturbing Tha Peace

Even though it’s hardly a household name like G.O.O.D. Music or the Roc, Ludacris’ label Disturbing Tha Peace has racked up a number of successes in its twelve year run. Now, it looks like Luda is taking a Texas couple to court over the name of his imprint.

According to a recent report from TMZ, Ludacris has filed suit against Demetri and Donna Evans-Brown copy illegal use of his copyrighted name. The Texas-based couple has been using the phrase “Disturb Tha Peace” in marketing their audio equipment and recording business.

Luda claims that he’s owned the copyright to the aforementioned phrase since 2003 and that the couple’s use of the name will mislead consumers over his affiliation with the products. Luda is suing the duo for damages and lawyer’s fees

      1. first reply got it right, its all about rep behind a brand. Luda won’t make shit off suing em, but he keeps his label legit. Watch American Gagnster and see how Frank Lucas deals with Kats trying to bite the Blue magic brand name

      1. Yea, true. I mean, suing for trademark infringement is a tiny bit frowned upon IMO, but at least Ludacris isn’t going all Metallica and suing for getting his music shared and downloaded.

Grace. you think Peggy`s remark is exceptional, yesterday I got a new BMW M3 when I got my cheque for $9829 this-past/five weeks and over 10-k last-month. without a doubt its the most comfortable work I’ve ever done. I started this five months/ago and almost immediately started making a nice minimum $70 per/hr.
