A week after Brooklyn’s Papoose made an unexpected entry onto the Summer Jam stage he releases a video freestyle addressing the event.
“I don’t care what ya’ll tweet, you making me a trending topic you fucking geek,” Papoose said during the minute-and-a-half freestyle, addressing the criticism he faced when everyone was shocked to see him perform.
Papoose lays his freestyle over the instrumentals of Jay-Z’s “Open Letter” and makes it known that he doesn’t care about what anyone thinks. He also hints at the fact that the whole thing wasn’t planned.
“Industry never did shit for me, except hated on me and pull trickery,” Pap raps. “They don’t want to let a nigga shine, fine, I’ll take another artist’s time.”
