Rap Release Dates: Juicy J, Busta Rhymes, Hopsin, Foreign Exchange

Busy week for album release news as the summer is starting to pick up.

Juicy J will release his Stay Trippy album on August 27. Originally rumored for a July 2 release date the album’s cover art was revealed Monday along with the tracklisting. Juicy’s Taylor Gang debut features Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Trina, A$AP Rocky, Young Jeezy, Big Sean, Justin Timberlake, Yelawolf, Pimp C, and Project Pat.

Busta Rhymes rekindled the possibilities of him actually dropping his long rumored next album. Taking to Twitter last week, Busta said that his Cash Money Records debut Extinction Level Event II is “almost done.” The album was initially planned for a 2010 release. In the time since, the Flipmode Squad founder released his free 2012 LP, Year Of The Dragon.

Hopsin finally has pinned a release date for his third studio album. Knock Madness, an album that has been rumored for three years, will see a 2013 release date as the Funk Volume founder targets November 26. The announcement came on what is believed to be the album’s artwork.

Phonte revealed on Twitter Monday that a new Foreign Exchange album is coming soon. No release date is yet set for the album, however the Little Brother member said that the album would be called Love In Flying Colors and will see a fall release date.

Clipse member No Malice has announced the release date for his solo debut. In a new album trailer, the release date for Hear Ye Him is revealed as August 18. It was previously revealed in an earlier trailer that July 2 would be the drop date for the album.

Reported last week, The Weeknd’s debut studio album, Kiss Land was to release on August 27. Universal Republic Records says that the album will release on September 10, two weeks later than initially reported.

Sacramento’s Chuuwee will release his next album Thrill on July 30. The project is available on DJ Booth.

    1. I must say after being disappointed by Yeezus, satisfied by MCHG but definitely not impressed. And nicely surprised by Born Sinner. I have not heard an hip-hop album since GKMC that has blown me away and made me listen for weeks straight. Oxymoron just might do the trick.

      1. I feel just awful for you on Yeezus, makes me sad you were let down.. and it makes my day that MCHG satisfied you but didn’t impress you. I will say a prayer for you tonight before I go to bed that Oxymoron does the trick.

Go write reviews or something homie… nobody on these boards knows or gives a fuck about you and your opinions, you post up like you are waiting for people to respond and agree with you to make yourself feel better. Don’t forget to check back here every hour to see if anyone responded to you….

    2. oh yeah and Jay Electronicas album is gonna shit on anything else that drops this year besides Oxymoron and Danny Brown’s Old. Pilot Talk 3 is gonna be good I just know already what to expect from it sound and subject matter wise so im not anticipating it that much.

      1. Thanks for sharing your opinion to the comment boards. That will definitely help me decide on which albums I should be paying attention too.
