Rap Release Dates: Eminem, Drake, Pusha T, Cage

A couple big announcements were made this week regarding album releases.

In one of the biggest album release announcements made in 2013, Eminem announced a sequel to his second studio album, The Marshall Mathers LP. During Sunday night’s MTV Music Video Awards, Beats By Dre released a commercial for Em’s seventh studio album, which was billed as MMLP2 (believed to be an acoronym for Marshall Mathers LP 2). The brief ad also announced that the album would release on November 5.

Drake will now release his third studio album, Nothing Was The Same on September 24 . The Toronto native’s original drop date was September 17 but decided to push it back a week. Drake did release the artwork for the album last week giving fans a little something to hold on to until release day.

After a lot of confusion on when Pusha T’s solo debut album would release, the G.O.O.D. Music artist recently straightened it all out. Pusha recently announced on MTV Rapfix that his album, My Name Is My Name will now release on October 8.

Orange County, New York native, Cage has confirmed that his new album, Kill The Architect will be released on October 22 via Eastern Conference Records.

      1. Cage wouldn’t have much to win if he did diss Eminem. Maybe some coverage on websites, but it would be forgotten fairly quickly. That said he’s still a good rapper.

    1. The fakeness of Eminem:

      – He hates gaypeople but did a song with homo Elton John. Fact!
      – He hates gaypeople but dye his hair blond. Fact!
      – He talks about killing but didnt do anything. Fact!
      – he dissed Britney Spears and NSYNCH but did songs with Rihanna and Pink. Fact!

Eminem is a product by Interscope Records! But Gucci is a product of the streets!

Long Live Gucci Mane The Great!

      1. no gucci mane release free mixtapes he has to give his shit away or nobody will care.. his shits always got 1 or 2 hot songs and a bunch of filler stinkers

    2. LOL @ Cage and Eminem in 2013. Em is so desperate to be relevant he’ll probably have Katy Perry on his album, while Cage is an Emo pussy who will probably make an entire album about cutting himself

And to think I liked both these dudes in 2000 smh

      1. Yeah and Em is so desperate to be relevant that even if he has no features on his album he’ll still go 2x platinum and album of the year. lmao ‘relevant’
