Lil’ Cease Says The Notorious B.I.G. Distrusted Michael Jackson Around Kids

Lil’ Cease recently spoke about The Notorious B.I.G.’s contribution to Michael Jackson’s “This Time Around,” a collaborative selection that appeared on 1995’s HIStory: Past, Present And Future Book I

“I remember we was in [Los Angeles],” Lil’ Cease said in a recent appearance at Cipha Sounds Presents: Take It Personal. “He got a call from [Diddy] to go record the record with Michael Jackson…[The Notorious B.I.G.] got the call and he was like, ‘Yo, we gota go to the studio and do this song with Michael Jackson.’ I’m in the back of the car, high as giraffe’s ass. You know, ‘You going to do a song with Michael Jackson? When?’

“So, we pull up to the studio,” Cease continued. “It wasn’t like all the other studios we went to. It was all gated. It was like a house. So we get in there and the studio was like a guest house and we in front of the house. So now I’m getting excited. I’m like, ‘Oh shit. This is real.’ I’m 16 years old. I’m like, ‘I’m about to meet Michael. I’m about to style on niggas. Ah, this shit ’bout to be on. I’m gonna ask him if he smoke.’ I’m thinkin’ about the illest shit in my mind, what I’m going to say when I see him. That’s the type of shit we was thinkin’ about. We was young kids. I was like, ‘I want to know if that nigga smoke. I’m sure he do, singing all that sentimental shit. There’s a sensitive bone in there somewhere where the weed bring some of that shit out of you sometimes.’

“So we gets there,” Cease added. “We pull up. The big security guard come out with the shades on, suited up and he comes in. He grabs Biggie. And I’m about to walk in and Big stops me an goes, ‘Hold up. Where you going?’ I’m like, ‘Nigga, I’m coming in.’ He like, ‘Nah, I don’t trust Michael with kids.’ I’m like, ‘Huh?’ And he had the serious face, too. You know Big. He was real sarcastic. He was funny. He was just like, ‘Nah. Nah, dude. I don’t think it’s a good look. Just stay right here. I’m going to go in there and handle that business real quick. Just roll up some weed. By the time I come back out, we can smoke.’ And I’m still trying to walk in and he holding it me like, ‘Dog, where you going?’ And I’m like, ‘Are you serious?’ He’s like, ‘Just chill. I’ll be right back. Alright? Just sit in the car. Roll up.’ Gave me a bunch of weed, ‘Just go have fun.’ I’m still thinking like, ‘He going to come right back.’

“There’s this window where you can actually see the studio,” Cease added. “So I’m sitting in the window looking like a stalker, like I’m about to burglarize the spot. I’m like, ‘Damn, where Michael at?’ I seen Michael come through. He had the shit wrapped around his face with the hat and Big comes and gives him this real Brooklyn [handshake], ‘What’s up dog?’ And that’s when I became a sad puppy. Like, that one time, my moment like, ‘Damn, I’m about to meet MJ and I’m sitting in the truck rolling up weed.'”

Cease said that his wish to meet Michael Jackson did not come true.

“I never got in,” Cease said. “Never met Mike. No nothing. But, [The Notorious B.I.G.] came back out after an hour and half, played the verse for me and I was like, ‘Alright. Verse was dope. Cool.’ But I was still like, ‘Yo bro, come on.’ I was already on the phone telling me moms, sister, like, ‘Yo, I’m about to meet Michael.'”

The video where Lil’ Cease’s details this story can be viewed below.

Michael Jackson was accused of sexual misconduct against minors several times throughout his career. One of the most recent accusers, choreographer Wade Robson, called the late singer a “pedophile and a child sexual abuser” in May, according to CNN

“This is not a case of repressed memory,” Robson said in a May interview with “Today.” “I never forgot one moment of what Michael did to me, but I was psychologically and emotionally completely unable and unwilling to understand that it was sexual abuse.”

The lawyer for Jackson’s estate denounced those claims.

“Mr. Robson has adamantly denied under oath and in numerous interviews over the past 20 years that Michael Jackson ever did anything inappropriate to him,” attorney Howard Weitzman said, as per CNN. “He now wants us to believe that he committed perjury at least twice and has been lying to anyone and everyone about Mr. Jackson since the early ’90s so he can file a claim for money. Mr. Robson’s transparent lawsuit comes nearly four years after Michael passed.”

Similar claims were made against Jackson by others. Jackson passed away four years ago, reportedly of propofol intoxication. He was 50.

no ones forcing you to click on these stories

    3. This foo will say anything for publicity. M Jackson was lied about.. All these rumors are false. M Jackson is a legend.

Who is Lil Cease? Random weed carrier for Mobb Deep? gtfo

      1. cease was bigs cousin, whether or not mj did wat they say…cease just tellin a story that doesnt sound very made up

      2. did you read the article or you just read the title and decided to come here and hate? the title is just a catchy journalism, you should blame hhdx for that, not lil cease because he didn’t say any negative shit about MJ

        fuck you hater

    4. Big was smart, you never bring pawns around the King. That is problem today, these elite try to bring they lil niggas around Jay, Nas and Wanye etc and then they think they on another level without putting their work in. Like artist today put out one or two albums that don’t sell anything and now they want the respect of the giants in the game. Cease should have kept that to himself, he got Biggie sounding ignorant.

      1. “Irrelevant” is everyone’s new favorite word…
I never know what people are expecting, like you wanted to hear the CNN top stories or something?
        If you’re into hip-hop and it’s about hip-hop, then it’s relevant.

    5. I thought Biggie’s nigga Gutta used to kidnap kids? Fucked em in the ass
& threw them over the bridge?

    6. Fuck all them… One raped kids One raped the mind and the last one is raping a dead man… Fuck lil shits and big none of them mean shit to real people…

    7. If cease was a kid at this time why was biggie giving him weed to roll up? I wouldn’t have trusted big around my kids either lol

    8. Cease compared Ross to Biggie, whites online just say Ross was a cop dude lol they don’t even know the difference between a CO and a policeman.

On the flip side I have more respect for people who enforce laws than I do the criminals who break them, I despise the rapists, pedophiles, robbers and burglars who terrorize our communities and I also despise the geeks, nerds, squares and wannabees who act like criminals are heros.

    9. So try to “protect” a teen from an adult in a room full of people but turn around and gives the teen weed?!? I know who i wouldn’t trust my kid around.

    10. Here’s a quote from another article I was just reading
“Michael came in. Biggie nearly broke out in tears…I could tell how much this meant to him. Well, Michael could have this effect on anyone, even the most hardcore rappers! Biggie was tripping up on his words, bowing down and telling Michael how much his music had meant to him in his life. Michael was, as always, very humble and kept smiling while Biggie just went on and on how much he loved Michael. I watched Biggie just become this big butterball of a man, and it was really very sweet to witness. After all, we are all just people.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Biggie sort of expected this sort of reaction and didn’t want lil Cease to see a “Weakness” of sorts

    11. That’s not how biggie told it, he said something different. Lil Cease need to sit down, you was 18 or 19 at the time. You was born in 1977.

      1. How someone speaks has nothing whatsoever to do with literacy. He’s clearly speaking AAVE, which is a dialect of American English that is generally viewed negatively because it is associated with poor black people. That said, there’s nothing inherent to AAVE that makes it inferior to standard American English. You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.

      2. what the fuck does literacy have to do with linguistics? as far as I’m concerned, YOU clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. Wait until you are past ENG 301 before going highbrow on a motherfucker. Literacy is reading and understanding written word whereas AAVE is a linguistic structure, stylized off of AE, which is the meta division behind the structural system in language, written or spoken. it’s a straw-man argument you are using to shit on verbiage of a comment.
