Ab-Soul is finalizing his next album, Black Lip Pastor, according to a Twitter update made by the TDE emcee.
Ab-Soul’s most recent project, Control System, was released in 2012. It featured appearances from Soul’s fellow Black Hippy members ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar. The project also included appearances Jhene Aiko and Danny Brown, among others.
Ab-Soul also announced that fans should send Twitter messages to Top Dawg, the CEO of Top Dawg Ent.

Ab-Soul recently participated in a much-discussed cypher as a member of Top Dawg Ent. The cypher included appearances from fellow Black Hippy members and new TDE signee Isaiah Rashad. That cypher can be viewed below.

it’s always the same issue when an independent record company signs with a major like Interscope
they can’t drop albums and mixtapes like they used to. they always have to check their schedule to make sure it matches the Interscope blueprints.
