Eminem, Drake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are among many artists who appear on the list of finalists for this year’s Billboard Music Awards.
The Top Rap Album category features several prominent releases from the last year, according to Billboard. J. Cole’s Born Sinner, Drake’s Nothing Was the Same, Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Jay Z’s Magna Carta…Holy Grail and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ The Heist are among the albums up for the award.
Several Hip Hop acts are also up for Top Rap Song. Eminem and Rihanna’s “The Monster,” Jay Z and Justin Timberlake’s “Holy Grail,” Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Ray Dalton’s “Can’t Hold Us,” Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Wanz’s “Thrift Shop” and Pitbull and Ke$ha’s “Timber” are up for the award.
The Top Rap Artist category could go to one of six emcees up for the prize. Drake, Eminem, Jay Z, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Pitbull are the Rap acts up for the award.
