Mad respect for Gucci for his honesty. I know first hand how dark and lonely a place it is, when you wake up and start back into drinking and smoking. I wasted years of my life trying to silence the noise in my head. I love how Russell Simmons summed it up when he was asked how he managed to get off drugs; “I like clarity over cloudiness. It’s fun! And the reason you get cloudy is so that you don’t have noise, so you can be clear. So it’s kind of a circle, right?! It’s the same shit- we’re all seeking a comfortable seat.”
